As expected, my Day 1 loaded sasquatch MIC top build naturally bubbled up to the #1 spot at the dealer. Some priority/simpller builds in front of me, and behind me have been pulled so far (~20% of the allocations). Once the FEs are pulled, then the clock starts ticking. Its a race to not get skipped by the 140+ remaining dealer orders to fill up the remaining ~30 allocation slots, as Ford plows through soft tops and simpler builds with MIC tops (keep in mind Ford gets to cherry pick from the 140 orders, not just the 30 allocation holders). I am not worried to make the YE cut. Rational being - even if it takes Ford 10 simpler builds to pick a loaded sas MIC, i'll still be good at the #1 loaded sas MIC, but maybe not so good at the 3rd or 4th build like that.

Then what is the point of previewing builds to the dealer?
So we can see what is scheduling. But as I've stated many, many times here....the preview changes from Tuesday to Thursday.

If it makes anyone feel any better, my preview today for Bronco is completely different than it was yesterday. 4 out of my 6 changed. The VIP stayed in, one normal customer, and 4 from yesterday have now dropped off, and 4 new ones dropped in. No rhyme, no reason, other than the Ford scheduling computer doing its normal thing finding and changing builds according to all the other thousands of builds being scheduled at the same time. It's what happens....every...single...week...of....the.....year.....

So if it serves no purpose, why do it? Why even look at it?

Some builds in front of me, and behind me have been pulled over the past month (priority, non sas hard tops). ~20% of the allocations have been picked. (The inflection point i've been talking about). its a race to not get skipped by the 140+ remaining dealer orders to fill up the remaining ~30 allocation slots, as Ford plows through soft tops and simpler builds with MIC tops (keep in mind Ford gets to cherry pick from the 140 orders, not just the 30 orders that have were assigned allocations from the onset). I am not incredibly worried to make the YE cut, but if i had the 3rd or 4th loaded sas MIC in line that's a different story
Which trim did you get?

I don't know. I feel like it'll likely change again overnight, so at this point since it changed so drastically from yesterday, I don't want to waste any brain cells trying to decipher it. I'll just look at it again tomorrow and then know who made the cut.

Technically we can look at other vehicles that didn't get scheduled due to constraints and take things off if we want them to have a chance to get pulled. This is for vehicles that aren't getting pulled by any type of timestamp either. In the Bronco's case, I'm not changing anything. If one previews, and you make a change, the likelyhood of it falling off is almost certain. Not like you could get a Base to preview, and then just load it up with everything and it just magically stays in. That won't happen.

I basically have a loaded wildtrak, but its an OBX (if that makes sense)
Makes perfect sense. I had the exact same thing. But last week switched to 2.3, soft top, and took off tow. So now I have OBX, soft top, LUX, leather, sasquatch, 2.3, no tow. I am #6 at my dealer. Hoping the changes help me out.

Bro...I know you're talking about 'previews' here, and that's a fluid status. But once you get a VIN assigned, are you still susceptible to falling off the apple cart?...or are you going to be built within a few weeks of your initial week assignment?
