Other than my build being a BL Lux instead of Mid pkg, our builds are identical right down to the color, Sas, engine, and doors. I’m #1 of 56, first 10 mins of reveal night. We shall see if Thursday is our lucky day.
Good luck! Hope you get some good news.

So if you knew about the priority deal after the fact like we did, would you have still ordered one?
This wasn’t directed at me, but I am not sure I would have—mainly because I could not have imagined it would take this long. At this point I can’t quit, but had I known that in late May 2021 we still wouldn’t have Broncos but also that the “VIPs” would still trump timestamp and prolong the rest of us, I might not have ordered.

When I saw the reveal and jumped to make a reservation, I remember my FIRST thought was that I’d reserve as quickly as possible but expected that dealers had most likely given VIP customers a head’s up about what time the ordering bank opened so they could get in first. I expected to get beat by some rich insiders, but just by them beating my timestamp a little bit on the same night. O wouldn’t have minded that so much, because those important people still had to be hot and heavy for a Bronco to act on the tip and make a res quickly. It seemed as close to “fair” as possible.

I would not have imagined that their “VIP priority” would come from giving them a FastPass after the fact, MONTHS later, rather than a tip about when they could make a reservation before schlubs like me ran across the reveal on Instagram.

I figured those insiders would get Broncos first but that they would have received them late 2020 or early 2021 and we’d have gotten ours shortly after. Now it’s May 2021 and we are still waiting on FastPass people to get theirs first.

This bouncing around has made me even more neurotic...lol. I went from build week of June 14th.. to week of July 5... Then yesterday it went to exact build day. July 8th.... Reading all these dates bouncing around and lots getting moved back up I'm sitting on my hands now trying reeeealllly hard to not call my guy again today and ask if it changed again. Lmao...

ps. I'm totally going to call for an unrelated reason then come back to it at the end.... Hey btw... Let's have a look at the computer.... Lol

So if you knew about the priority deal after the fact like we did, would you have still ordered one? Your ability to get at '21 is directly related to the vehicle YOU chose to spec, YOUR times stamp and Ford's ability to get the parts to build it. So I guess you could say most of this is your fault. I'm just messing with you, don't blow a blood vessel.

How long you gonna be bitter? Isn't going to get your rig to you any faster and just kills any joy in your life. Guess you are entitled to your feelings but why waste the energy or time grinding on stuff out of your control?
I'm just standing my ground here and calling it what it is. I will lose no sleep over this, I would have kept one of the two cars I gave away, as it looks like I'll need one.

Haha. He also told me once he was swamped and wanted me to reschedule my appt with him that he made and agreed to. I was driving down from Wy in a snow storm to edit my build from a WT to a BL and to order a Bronco Sport from him. He told me they had 35 appointments and he wouldn’t be able to give me the attention I deserve. I said no, I’m on my way. When I got there no customers were there. He had just pulled up and said their computer system inadvertently scheduled 35 appointments, but they fixed it and I was good for my appt. needless to say I didn’t buy a sport from him, changed the order to a Ranger and bought it 15 miles up the road. I’m stuck with the Bronco though.

Has nothing to do with being rich or an insider, your time was your time. I suspect dealer council worked Ford over to allow us some input on builds. All dealers in the program got at least one to use on an order. Its not like 3k extra people cut line, they already had a time, order and subject to commodity constraints like everyone else. Dealers could choose to use how they saw fit or not. This is the only say we had in this process and happened way after the fact.
If you got your dealers priority would you be complaining or be sitting back happy you weren’t on here griping about how unfair its been?
I’m a dealer and don’t get any different treatment than anyone that ordered with us. No “buddy” inside at Ford to bump my order or favor to call in. I set my build for the best chance of getting pulled based on my reservation time stamp. So what is the problem?
You have the option to see the order through or cancel at any point. I think people want to feel like they’ve been victimized over this process. Cancel, get your hundo back or tell your dealer to keep it.

I’ve driven these at the dealer off roadeo and telling you it’s worth the wait. I want mine even more but the question of if its worth the wait has been answered for me. I give you communication should have been better but it’s still fluid and may keep changing. These are jeep killers hands down, no bs. Stay the course, you will thank me.

Seems a lot of people think the priority orders just magically appeared. It's like being in line for the newest club, a limo didn't all the sudden pull up and a bunch of rich d-bags walked past everyone to get in. It's more like the bouncer pulled some hot chicks out of the line and let them get in front. Some may have been in front of you and some behind. Overall it has little bearing on when you get let in.

I have no plans of dumping. I may sell my 66 for a second one. I'll know once the BL arrives

I'm with you there...I'm not saying they will do it as they have failed before on meeting promises, I was just saying that they did indeed tell everyone that they would do it.
I agree 100% and I'm not trying to troll or irritate anybody, it's just that Ford has kind of screwed the pooch the entire time and people shouldn't expect different with the May email.
