Great thread. I want to replace the stock tires on my Base with the same size and width, but more aggressive. I’m not a fan of offset wheels/tires, and the wheels/tires on the new Bronco are already offset as-is, though the flares do cover. I don’t want any wider tire than stock.

Also, my intended use is driving over a field of pizzas, with the occasionally calzone-crawling trip.
Lots of good choices in the 255 width, some 265's. I use 1010tire.com for research.

Other than Swampers....are there any other pizza cutters to replace the Sasquatch tires? Even though, I will say that the 315's in person weren't near as ballonish looking as some of the CGI renders. Will replace wheels as needed.

Personally I think skinny tires look funny but you can't deny they dig. Once I had 34x9.5 swampers with just one locker and walked through an area that another guy with 2 lockers and 35x12.5s got stuck. Only problem I had with those was coming off the bead all the time, even on 7" wheels.

Put me on the list for 285/85/17s too.

What were you airing down to when you had a problem keeping the bead?

Following this thread. This is certainly the look I am after. Question for those with more 4x4 experience - how do skinny tires do in sand?

Sand is about the only place skinnies are not good.
