Poor Harambe. Lest we forget.
*raises a glass of puréed banana in remembrance of the Kong-like superpower that was Harambe.

Maybe it was because Popeye's dared challenge the chichen Sammich of Chick-Fil-A...
They should have never picked a fight w/God’s Chosen Chicken Sandwich

Another piece falls into place to put the Great Reset into motion. We are on the edge. The question is,, what's the tipping point and where will we be when it's over.

can someone confirm if Ford is affected?

It kind of sucks - with these other delays - the 2.7 and Sasq materials will all be in ready supply by the time they get the chips. I skipped on those for earlier delivery, I would be bummed to know I could have Sasq'd without delays.
Yes Ford is affected across all models. The F150 line has been shut down several times due to the chip shortage, they were down again this past Fri-Sun. And it wasn't predicted to get better until the 3rd quarter, now this fire will make it worse. I was at Detroit Metro airport over the weekend and there are 3000-4000 new f150s parked in a huge lot waiting for chips. This will slow Bronco production for sure.

Moderators, how do we request this user to be banned? I think he's a festival goer!

Having been to Burning Man a few times, if I had run into Elon Musk, i'd probably try to punch him in the back of the head. Always better safe than sorry. Full disclosure: the Costco at Burning Man is their best location, and the Wiener Zoo is across the street from Denny's.

But then again, i'm not the guy running a company that's getting dangerously close to slave labor, has zero cultural accountability for any of their actions/products, and I've never called an adult who risked his life to save drowning children a child molester for not using my submarine. Where is the bar for morality when your families wealth is in blood diamonds? I guess it's below having workplace safety for your workers... Remember, when you work at Gigafactory, you have to lose your limb PAST the elbow or knee in order to stop assembly and report the workplace injury. Just a hand or a finger and it's gray area, you should keep working.
No festival goer here! Closest I've been is OzzFest back in '93 or 94. Metallica was the main band with of course, Ozzy and several others. Maybe Candlebox. And a newer band who opened for Metallica called MudVayne who at the time I thought sounded good and loud, cool stuff.
I listened to them again the other day on XM and was surprised at how horrible they really are (apologies to any hard-core Mudvayne fans, but they really aren't that great, sorry to break it to ya).
And yeah, Musk is another one of those who have lost their sense of empathy and grasp on real-world issues and real-people struggles.
I think as a visionary from a 30,000 ft. view he has some progressive thoughts, but the means to get there and how he does it are not cool.
I worked for a similar place as a young man.
Guy had a heart attack and fell off of the top of the product we were making (they were large people movers and I don't want to be specific and slander their name).
Plant manager came out, looked pissed, started yelling at people to "Get this guy out of the way so we can move the line."
I didn't stay there long after that.

As a history and science nerd, I definitely had.

On a satirical note (i think I have to preface from now on):
But is the Fyre festival also where they have Burning Man and Elon Musk launches all his expensive fireworks from?
And there's a Denny's there, too.

*Damn, I just noticed I sound more and more like @Rick Astley every day.
Coincidence?
Any of ya'll seen us together in the same place at the same time?
It might be a Spiderman/Venom kinda thing.
Or a C Kent/Superman.
Or Whatever that nerdy Superman/Bizarro thing was decades back.
Or MK Scorpion/ Sub Zero (not the same person even though similar).
I find this highly improbably, given his 'distaste' for non-metallic deep rich greens" and your avatar truck does not fit that bill. Or, are we just getting rick-rolled in subterfuge... 😁

Fun story about that truck and color.
Guy talked to me about repainting it, simply said "I want some old school color like those bright ones from the 50's trucks. I want it to be some kind of tribute with maybe another color or stripe to break it up."
Gave me total freedom.
After disassembly many issues were found and I ended up welding in floor pans, rockers, cab corners, and both bedsides.
Since we went that far we ended up doing 4 link rear, 383 engine with Sniper EFI, Dakota Digital gauges and a complete interior re-do, all new glass. Air Ride and 20's.
He had no idea about the color.
I picked the pearl white out for the accent and painted about 60% of the truck in it.
Came back with the Atlas Blue and 2-toned it.
Even did a stripe on the raised cowl portion of the hood to tie it together.
Ordered and installed the Silverado trim to border the 2-tone.

He was extremely happy.
1st show after it was done it took 2nd place.
Several people have commented on the color, said they've never seen a squarebody painted that color and it was a gutsy move to do it, but it turned out really cool and different.

And no, no Rick approval on it. I'm not sure how he feels about it...

It's not a color I would do, but it IS a beautiful truck - nicely done!

The Ford ranger is the most American truck, with 70 percent parts content from U.S. and Canadian.

And Bronco is made at the same plant and has much in common with the ranger.

I don't know if the 30% imported parts are items that are in short supply but this should put the Ranger and possibly the Bronco as the least affected vehicles made here.

https://www.motortrend.com/features...gearbox.-,1.,from U.S. and Canadian suppliers.

There is hope.
