Any that were converted to orders, even if left in 99 status for 22 model year. So yes, if converted, but no if just holding the reservation.Does this # include all those waiting for MY22?
Ford early preview presentation to Wall Street:Just got our email, 66.75% national conversion rate, KC region was at 76% and our zone at 82%. So now we wait to find out what this means for allocation.
I wonder how rampant that will actually beHow many of these were dealerships converting orders without the customer's consent?
WTF! That's pure speculation without any evidence. These kinds of comments which are proffered as "definitely going to happen" and "guaranteed" goes to condemning the whole delaership network. Maybe your dealership sucks and you should do business elsewhere, but that doesn't mean that all dealers will stoop to the underhanded practices your dealer does. How sad it must be to have that kind of outlook.Exactly. Since the reservation deposit was with the dealer, they could refund the deposit for anyone who declined to order or was a non-contact, convert with the person's name still on the reservation, and then "no match" them when it was delivered. The "no match" was designed to protect them against cancellations, but they are definitely going to game the system. Unfortunately there will be Broncos on lots for sale before reservations are filled, something Ford guaranteed would not happen. Really sad for everyone waiting patiently and trying to follow the rules.
Ford needs to revisit this issue and tighten this up. I see the potential for a lot of abuse.

Nothing is fair in love or dealer profits. It seems the fair thing for Ford to do is contact all order holders using the original reservation contact information and confirm that they indeed placed the order and intend to take delivery of the vehicle.
Those that say ‘no” to either question Ford should force the order to go to the end of the queue after all existing reservations/orders (MY21 and MY22) and then the dealer can do what they want with it when it shows up.
Those that do not respond are put on hold until the dealer can validate the customer exits and answers the two questions. The dealer failing to find the perspective buyer also puts the order to the end of the queue.
Dealer Employee orders can be addressed by asking a third question. “Are you a current employee?” Those ‘yes’ get bumped and any false no’s are something Ford and the Dealer will have to handle as they do any other misrepresentation.
As a further bit of fairness, MY21 orders canceled should be offered to those MY21 buyers who are bumped out of MY21, using a first come first serve and best match approach. Those declining orders go to the dealer. For example a B 2.3. manual gets offered to the next B 2.3 manual that missed out of MY21. Each order gets one shot and each buyer in queue gets one chance to accept.
hoping for 4th of July delivery!
Man, how awesone would that be!
We don't know build dates yet. Many expecting July-August and find out they have to wait till next February. Many of those will drop out for any number of reasons.I’m not in the auto industry but maybe one of the dealers here can comment on the percentage of people that do not purchase non-Bronco orders. I would be very surprised if it was over 5%.
Why do you see 20% of people who ordered walking away?
Ford misled everyone to believe that it was a fair reservation queue, but then big dealers whined and Ford caved.I just hope/wish there was a rule where a dealer had to fill their reservations to actual customers before they started receiving lot units from orders where the customer backed out. It would be pretty frustrating to hear your rig is coming in 2 months just to see your dealership pawning off extras on the lot that they received from customers who backed out.
I'm not saying the dealerships shouldn't get those extra units... Just fulfill your actual reservation list to the customers who stuck in out first please.
