Ok. I love the look of the Sasquatch Bronco.

Ok. I know most of us (well, not me) will be getting the Sasquatch package.

Ok. Now I know why they will be in short supply. Ford is only making non production Broncos with the freaking Sasquatch package.

WHY! Why so many. I just want to see a BD on the mountain. In the woods. Doing anything.

It is very curious that they have been promoting Sasquatch from the beginning, yet if you order it, it's a delayed build. Doesn't make much sense.

Also, because in pictures the 4d bronco on anything less than 33’s pretty much looks like a disproportionate land barge.

That’s not to put down anyone who’s ordering that or likes the spec, my opinion only but with how big the wheel wells are and seeing the SQ Broncos it really feels like the vehicle was designed around 35’s.

Promote Sasquatch, Sell Sasquatch, run out of Sasquatch.
Self fulfilling prophecy, I won't be surprised if that's the next big ire "I got Sasquatch and it says I can't get mine till November!!"
Headline: Ford Sasquatch as hard to find as the real thing/Bronco Sasquatch Debacle/Ford Stock crashes as Sasquatch package delays builds through next year

Marketing and creating excitement around a product that does not exist and having your customers ready to back-order that item means Ford is killing it.

and the Flip side ... Ford markets a blue interior and it was NOT a splash and Ford had to reconsider and offer a black interior.

Halo effect. Why do companies race? Why do they always market the special edition or high end versions? Even if you go lower/smaller, you still associate your purchase and the product identity with the “lead dog”. I don’t care about owning a “Warthog” Bronco or racing a Bronco prototype at KOH, but I love that Ford is doing both 👍🏽

Because every Bronco they advertise with the Sasquatch package means more potential customers who will want to spend money on it, regardless of when they've made a reservation.
We've seen people go the other way and not order squatch or other components in hopes of getting their Bronco earlier.

Seems like the better marketing play is to qet the Squatches out their in the wild to drive excitement from the other potential buyers.

This is specific to Badlands and I may be in the minority but I think the 33" BFG K02s on the upgraded BL wheels look better than then the sasquatch setup.

Not the same thing. This isn't a Ford GT. This is a wheel package that wil be available to anyone who wants it (eventually).

I totally understand the halo cars and the one-off things to promote a brand.

You should not be saying that out loud on this forum.

(but, I agree (y))

To go basic off roading you really don't need the Sasquatch. I did some pretty heavy duty 4 wheeling in my first 1971 Bronco- with "small" all terrain stock tires and no lockers at all- If I remember right P225's. I only had problems with traction in the deep mud, steep hill climbs. And on trails with big boulders- not enough ground clearance. I learned to 4 wheel on this Bronco. I feel that the Bronco Base without Sasquatch would be more than adequate for me. But I love the look of the larger tires- and it makes the Bronco all that much more capable to tackle the easy trails- with potential if I want to get adventurous. And it will sit up higher- with all of the trucks around here with 4" lifts and 35" tires- even my "stock" 2018 Silverado feels low to the ground. So, to me I'll wait for the Sasquatch. I'll get it eventually and if I want to sell it, it is appealing to a lot of people, obviously.
