Hello all y'all.

I know many of us will be financing our Bronco's and I am curious as to what rates folks have been finding and/or are currently getting on other auto loans.

For this exercise I am assuming the person getting the loan has proper credit (750+).

Lowest I have seen is about 72 months at 2.74%

anyone seen anything better?

No telling what rates will be when delivery starts...but right now Navy Fed has 2.19% for 60 month / 2.29% for up to 72...if you're a member already or military / a veteran.

2.49 for 60 seems common, everyone is expecting rates to go up, but not until 22 or 23, so hopefully we hold there or go a bit lower by delivery.

You're way too early. And you'll want to know what Ford will do. They're doing 1.9, I think, on the Edge right now, so who knows?

For the Sport, Ford is showing 0% for 48 and 0.9% for 60 so hopefully they will have some competitive rates come delivery.

A lot of money is made on financing with the manufacturer. That won’t happen on a sold item. Maybe year 2 or 3 when they need to bring people to the lot to get them. If you have good credit, set up 2 weeks to 1 month prior to delivery with an outside institution.

and then use that to negotiate rate with Ford financing. As long as you have good credit, they'll likely match, or do better. Bc, like you said, a lot of money is made financing with the manufacturer. So they'd rather you do that then use outside. At least in my experience.

That is true. My dealership matched my credit union and beat it by .25% on my super duty. The dealership makes money even if it is from a third party creditor.

I believe MSU Federal Credit Union is offering 2.49% over 60 months, but I haven't checked in a while.

My credit union has 1.99% for new vehicles. The rate/offer lasts for 6 months, so once Ford announce delivery dates in May I'm going to start looking for rates.
