I'll wager 1 adult, 12 oz beverage, non-craft, of your choice that you will see the Model Year 22 information on the B&P the day after order conversion closes. Or at least within a week @tritonx100
No chance, I'll take that bet.

For starters, the last thing they want is 70,000 MY21 reservations starting to cancel and people waiting to MY22.

We know they want to close orders mid-March for a delivery start of say mid-June (3 months). So if MY22 starts 1/1/22 they need to close by end of Sept 21. I think that when they communicate in Apr/May where people stand in line, they'll also communicate the updated order window for MY22 which will run from June to Aug.

Really awesome information @Zach@Granger and @Granger Ford ! As a reservation holder I really appreciate you guys stepping up to the plate and posting your own thread with your own knowledge. You certainly are becoming experts to far more people than just those holding reservations with you.

Hopefully an *easy* question for you guys:

That front license plate location is FUGLY!!!! As an Iowa resident where we require front plates - will you guys be able to refrain from installing the front license plate by my request? So that I can come up with a more elegant mounting solution?

How many reservations did granger end up with? I wonder if changing to them might not be a good idea this late in the game if my dealer is a stickler about price.

At least they are transparent...to a point...they still haven’t said what their order block allocation is upfront.
Why are you even concerned about their allocation?

It always amazes me how critical some people are of others. SMH

@Granger Ford : here is my question... if we are borderline on MY21/22... do we order as if 21 and if we see we are getting 22, how do we go about changing/ordering when that happens? Can we make the change as our vehicle won’t have been built yet? Ex: if I order a Badlands in CG and the new model has a green or blue, can I change? ... same as with the top? ... and I won’t even begin to ask how allocations will go for any special editions for MY22.. who gets dibs on those?

That still works for me.

But going from Zach’s estimate of 45% conversion = 85,000 orders or Ford’s estimate of 75% conversion= 142,500 orders and considering Ford’s production of 140,000/year (?) and their statement that they will build reservation/retail before stock..it would seem likely that most current reservation holders will likely get their Bronco within 12 months of production start up in June?

So not sure how it would get pushed to MY23. Maybe 100% conversion?

Maybe I am missing something.. it wouldn’t be the first time.
The lower the conversion rate the better, for sure. A dealer posted yesterday that his conversions on the Sport were 25%. It's been 6 months since most of us expressed interest by reserving. And a lot has happened in that time.

I am interested in this as well. Many dealers seem to be giving this information out freely (not mine but Im not sure they have email at this point haha). Granger has generated a lot of interest with their pricing and have been engaged in the forums and are aiming to be transparent. Many have asked and no response with either the numbers or reasons for not disclosing have been given yet. Information is still coming in and there is still plenty of time to answer, but this is one of the first things that I have noticed as well. They are aware of the request.

Got mine at 11pm on the 13th, also a 7/14 res
Is it possible they cut off and go to the next day if reserved after 5PM? I got my email at 7:38pm on the 14th and I have a 7/15 reservation.
I reserved two, on 7/13, both before 10pm EST. Weird , up until today, every time I’ve logged into Ford, my reservation date showed 7/13.

I believe this time-stamp discrepancy has been addressed here before. Search GMT and you should find it.

GMT = Greenwich Mean Time. It make it easier for Ford to determine the exact time when someone clicks "reserve" when using one singular clock.....rather than factoring multiple time zones.

Kinda like how the military uses Zulu time. Whatever time it was in London when you reserved your Bronco will determine if you first day res holders are 7/13 vs 7/14.

I was pointing out that they didn’t mention in their post how many my21 they think they will get. They have the info. My guess is they are telling the reservation holders directly.

I also wanted to know their allocation because a ton of people moved to granger and now Ford seems to have changed the assumption. In the Midwest no one has more reservations than granger

Not flaming, but what was clear about it? It was all a mathematical exercise based on a guesstimate of reservations conversions.

My dealer is a small dealership and gave me specific numbers as to their number of reservation holders (less than 30) and their allotment from Ford for MY '21 units (less than 10). I was a late reservationist and my dealer said plainly I am a MY '22 delivery and that MY '22 production begins December 2021. According to Ford 2-door body styles are one of the delay drivers.
I’m not sure how your dealer can tell you that for sure since reservations haven’t converted to orders yet. What if they have 2/3 of their reservations cancel without orders. You are then MY21. Zach was as clear as he could be without knowing how many will convert.

I’ll take the over with MY22 going live right after we get our delivery dates in May. But I need a local craft, preferably a English Stout. ?

1st - The way I see it, the biggest factor will be the overall conversion ratio. If Ford is shooting for 80% in their projections and it comes in at 40%. That doubles the production capability they are anticipating. The second factor is yes, if we convert at 100% and all other dealers convert at 50% our percentage of allocation would increase. The amount of which, I'm not sure.

2nd - It is my impression we are supposed to convert all order regardless of reservation date. I have asked for clarification on what this looks like then converting to a 2022 model year and haven't received a solid answer. So we're waiting to hear back before ordering or not ordering Post sep 18th reservation.
First of all, can I just say that Granger Ford has been amazing?!? Seriously, my local dealers in NM have given me runaround about test driving a vehicle on the lot while you guys are giving us tons of details to how the back end system is working right now. Mad Props.

My question is what do you want the October reservation holders to do? Given how inundated y'all are, I'm guessing it's best for you guys if we hold tight and wait for instructions, but figured I would ask.

I want a MY22 anyway, so I can get a white top ;D
