Wouldn't surprise me at all if 'special editions' are not a part of Ford's reservation scheme at all. Possibly MY2022 regular dealer inventory to allow dealers to 'get well' on ADM

Yeah - my daily debate is move on a mid or high package 7MT Badlands in 2021 and figure out top whitening later, or sit and see what gets fixed for 2022 (which I doubt is going to be a whole lot - there weren't many changes between 07 and 08 Wranglers either).

The other debate is lease a 2021, and then see what happens in 36 months and decide to buy it out or reorder an improved 24 for the long term.

Besides the obviously delays and supply chain issues raising quality concerns, the single biggest kicker putting me on the fence is a damned white top. What were they thinking?

I had a discussion (argument?) with someone here that just because colours are complimentary doesn't mean they always look good together.

Agreed. We all have a preference on colors but people claiming things have to go well together because they're opposites on the color wheel was getting ridiculous haha

Ahh, but isn't paint one of the biggest points of friction? They have an opportunity to score a bunch of $$$ and brand loyalty based on paint color alone. I can buy a white top later, if I want. I can add graphics, and likely will, but a factory paint job in a color that'll drive up sales? Seems like a win to me.
Having said that, it won't influence my decision-I'm already overpriced on my BL build and probably can't afford the "Heritage" edition. Also, smart money is on the fact that this is VB, which I'm not interested in.

Unless they came out with a two tone blue/white combo like my current DD, then.....

MGV = Marine Grade Vinyl
MT = Manual Transmission
