Build & Price Updated: Auto No Longer Free For Mid-Level Trim + Other Changes

I called Ford directly today, to find out if the B&P had bugs, or if this was a stealth price increase. I had low expectations with getting an answer, and was told the pricing had not increased. The rep walked through a B&P configuration, only to see the pricing summary increased by $1500. The rep was going to send an email to the B&P team to let them know. If prices are in fact changing, a communication update wouldn’t be too much to expect, would it!?!

I plan on calling daily to log a complaint - get the B&P updated or provide common courtesy and communicate if there was a pricing update.

I've had cats that communicate better than Ford.

I hear you, I'm hoping the completely new design 2023 4Runner changes up the design styling.

I really like the look of the current 4Runner, personally. Hell, I jumped ship and ordered a '21 TRD Off Road Premium. *laughs*

I am definitely interested in seeing what they come up with for the '23 model though. Looking forward to what the 6th gen will bring.

hahahahahaha... No - Ford is keeping their head in the sand, thinking everyone is still as excited as we were back in July. They don't communicate. Period. Their handling of all of this is nothing short of absolutely comical. If I handled anything at my job the way they've handled this mess, I'd have been applying for unemployment months ago. This whole shit show is proof that Ford has NO idea what they're doing, and has ZERO interest in customer loyalty or retention. You'd think they would WANT to keep their loyal fans informed.. you'd think they'd be willing to admit to mistakes/missteps .. but no.

This is an abusive relationship where we keep getting punched in the face, and told that "it's ok, I'll do better", just to end up getting tripped as we're going down the stairs. (I'm not trying to minimize abusive relationships in any way by saying that, but it's the closest comparison I could come up with). They continue to lie to us, make changes with no acknowledgment of errors, have poorly functioning B&P site, etc ... it's exhausting.

I wild theory I have as to why Ford hasn't released a state to go with the B&P update is they are waiting for the statement to be drafted by the legal team they have at Ford. Not in anyway an attorney, but could definitely see them telling the reps at Ford not to admit that there was a pricing mistake as it could be an admission of guilt in the court of law, yada yada, blah blah blah.

We shall see what the official build and price update holds for us when it's release next year.

You guys are crazy. Its a build and price for a vehicle that is not in production. They were obviously not going to give away auto transmissions... you want something to be true so bad you are blinding yourself.
