People just love having their dogs with them.
When I had good dogs, I would bring them out with me.
Now, all I have is bad dogs (actually, one is a good dog, but he is blind, so he’s hard to take out in crowded places).

Not sure what the OP meant by “unless you have to”, but I can guess it implied that the only folks who buy a 2-door can’t afford a 4-door. I am reminded about my father, who always bought the stripped model of most any car he ever got. It wasn’t that he couldn’t afford the loaded trim, he just didn’t see the need to overpay on a depreciating asset.

Because the OP intended this thread to be a parody of another thread but the 2-door purists have no sense if humor.

Automobiles evolve. To each their own. Jeeps were originally 2 door also.. some people need more room, while some people are fine with the space of a two door. Who cares?!

It wasn't a thing when I was a kid, at least not like now. Not this "fur baby" stuff. We had a family dog, but no way my dad would have bought a vehicle based on the dog. I mean don't get me wrong, we cared about that dog. But it was a dog. I don't recall ever bringing our dog into a store or in particular restaurant. Or driving around with it other than to a trail for a walk. I guess things have changed.

A 4-door has many pros, but they would only apply to small fraction of my uses. Benefits of a two door are less substantial, but apply each and every time I leave the driveway. ...or just parked in the garage for that matter.

The main reason is the longer the wheelbase of a vehicle, the more I find them to be a chore to drive. Short wheelbase vehicles are a blast!

Lighten up dudes. This was a joke thread for one. Two... Everyone likes different things and had different priorities. If you don't "get it," you think it's "no fun," or just didn't get the joke, then you are probably the one that is boring.

Just be glad there’s a 4 door option available. Otherwise, I reckon there’d be no Bronco at all. (Check out Jeep sales figures for 2 vs 4 doors as a point of reference.)
