So this is really a good deal for a real metal bumper? Is this like a fire sale, all inventory must go? Everything else I see is right at 1g….. also for those of you that got them and put them on were they a complete set up or did you need other parts and pieces?? And free shipping……? I like good deals but cheap junk is not what I’m going for not to mention losing the money and still buying another bumper!!!!

4WP is now Smittybilt.
So they are offloading the 4WP branded product.
This is the exact same bumper.

Yep like @EvilJim1971 said it's basically a rebranding. Although they've been offloading these things for a long time now. When I bought mine for around three something each back in like February, I really didn't think they would last that long. But here we are.

Yes they're really good, pretty heavy-duty bumpers. I won't say they're the greatest bumpers ever made, but they definitely serve the job for me. I'll say I like the front bumper better than the rear, mostly due to the rear fitment, it's a little weird on the back corner. Don't expect show truck like quality, but definitely better than stock.

And honestly for the money even if you had to go a different route a few years down the road I don't think you really lost anything. Especially if you're like me and my stock bumpers were beat up pretty good.

No you don't need anything else to install, other than I would recommend front frame horn reinforcements, and you need to get the bracket if you want to run the winch on the front.

Only other thing is I think it's a little difficult to find lights that fit in the front holes well. They're a little oddly shaped, and the brackets are a little weird. I had to get creative to get mine in there. And honestly I don't really think they're aimed all that well. But they are following the bumper so it is what it is.

I just ordered the rear bumper for 313$ CAD on Amazon.ca

Unfortunately the front bumper doesn’t work for what I am looking for.

Is the 22$ skid plate compatible with the OEM base plastic bumper?

Just curious what your plans are?

I'm not sure if it's been tried. I don't have any experience with the plastic bumper. But there is a chance. It has a pretty big gap at the top, even with the 4WP bumper. It's kind of weird. Not my favorite, but it works. It's cheap, and doesn't have thee giant wings on the sides they look a little funny with the 4WP front bumper.

Apparently I don't have a good pic of it. You can kind of see it in these.

My rear bumper is Back on the road.
Should be here tomorrow.

My plan is to whack it up considerably:
Winch mount(for my portable to live)
Cup holder.
Place to mount my folding sand anchor.
Drop the spare lower with a cradle.
Stuff.

thanks for chiming in.

my plan is to simply replace my OEM plastic “protector” with this 22$ skid plate.

I would jump on the front bumper as well but I live in an inner city and since I have to constantly squeeze my bronco to parallel park between thighty parked cars, I can’t do a bumper that sticks out like this one.

Gotcha! Yeah it definitely sticks way out there.i had to adjust how I park in my garage a little because of it. The OEM steel bumper would probably be a good upgrade eventually I you got a good deal on one.

I probably should keep an eye out for a “capable” bumper.

it does seem like most if not all aftermarket bumper stick out more than OEM options

Wow, thanks for the heads up on this. Picked up the two bumpers and the winch plate at Autoplicity for $550 plus tax. Got the skid plate on Amazon for like $35 as it was very slightly cheaper since no free shipping on Autoplicity for it, and it caused issues with my cart calculating shipping anyways

This is a pretty sick deal, I've been eyeing something similar by Hooke Road or elsewhere since my offroading use is pretty light, but this is cheaper and should be better in all ways

Oh yeah that's what I was thinking was capable bumper. I had no issues with mine, but it got a little too beat up and I kept tweaking it. The modular bumper would probably be a good in between if you got a good deal on one of those as well.

Yeah autoplicity is weird. I've tried to order from them two or three times and not had any luck. I ordered both of these bumpers from them, about halfway through expecting them the ship them they canceled it and refunded all my money for no reason. There was some note about stock issue, but that was like 9 months ago and clearly they still have them.
