Topless cargo security — what are you actually doing?

Ran my Raptor topless most of the summer down here in Texas and cargo is the one thing I never had a good answer for. Anything in the back is visible from the parking lot and somebody can just reach in over the tub.
Tried a blanket over everything, tried a duffel strapped to the tie-downs, tried hauling all of it into the restaurant with me at every stop. All three are annoying in different ways.
Think I finally have it sorted after about a year of messing with it. Want more trail miles on it before I say what.
What's everybody else doing for this? Curious if there's a better answer I've missed.

I have everything in a bag or box so it isn't totally obvious what's back there. But apart from that... nothing.

I don't keep a lot of high value items in the back, but it would be annoying to have them turn up missing. Most expensive thing is either the air hose/chuck or the single 24mm ratcheting wrench.

I'm more worried about someone cutting the soft top or breaking a window to rustle through stuff than I am anything actually turning up missing. Nothing says people suck like smashing a $500 window to steal a $15 pair of sunglasses.

I thought about building a tonneau cover thing... but haven't really got around to it, and not sure it would help more than just get in the way.

steel cargo enclosure. The brand escapes me but I will post shortly. Unless someone has the time, tools and opportunity to smash the swing gate off, they will not see nor gain access to the rear cargo area even from the interior. Most thieves are not going to go to that length and will simply find another easier target.

Grabbed a hooke road enclosure off amazon.

Takes about an hour to put together initially, but once its together, I just take it in/out in one piece whenever I do my roof. Only undoing the cargo floor bolts and hard top bolts (which you have to take out anyway)

Its a similar size and weight to the roof itself so its basically the same process of just lifting up and sliding back. Uses the same bolts as well. Adds 10 minutes to the roof change each time but really transforms the roofless experience. Having a full trunk is superrrr nice ngl...

Although i will say that storing it isnt super easy if you don't want to completely break it down flat every time. I just flip mine upside down and use it as a bucket for all my other bronco stuff (like roof bags and gear)

Centex here...love having the top off. I had the OEM Tuffy enclosure ($200 on Facebook) for a while and it is good but lacks ability to easily take it down for storing large items in the back. You can take the kid off, anything else is a lot of work.
I considered diabolical but man...$$$$.
I settled on EZ4x4, fantastic solution. Maybe not as secure as the Tuffy, but more than secure enough for even leaving it overnight on the east side. Added the slide out to it, which means I have modularity and can still easily drop it to the floor and put my bike in the back. No rattles or anything. Great gear.

I have the tuffy security deluxe enclosure.

I like it. Just adds a step on taking the top off. Have to remove the lid to get my lift in the cargo area

I had my buddy make me a cargo shelf. Very functional for additional storage and not overly expensive. Bigger items like golf clubs would require thieves folding down the rear seats. Keeps my crap out of sight and prevents a quick grab and go.

Will probably go diabolical at some point.

I have the ez 4x4 trunk. It's been awesome for securing my stuff with the top off, and folds down when I don't need it. I highly recommend it.

Nothing. Any reasonably secure solution is far, far more expensive than the things I might leave in the vehicle to get stolen. Plus, I'm more concerned someone will damage my (expensive) top trying to get to things.

This only works for me because, well, I don't tend to run around with things in my Bronco or other cars other than emergency and recovery gear, and because I don't use my Bronco for day to day driving. So, YMMV.
