To those who have installed Morimoto’s XB LED Headlights, what are your experiences with this product? Do you recommend these headlights, or are there others that you prefer?

I had their lights on my Ranger. Massive upgrade in light output, but the LED running lights started intermittently doing weird stuff 2 months after install. Based on the Ranger forums it was common 😩 traded the truck in for the Bronco after about 8 months of having those lights because the transmission was going out so I can’t speak to the longevity of the lights. Though they probably would last longer than the 10R80 transmission in those trucks 🙄

Thanks for your input. The lights generate a lot of power, so I was wondering what experiences others have had with them regarding their longevity. I believe they come with a 5-year warranty.

Our OCULUS™ Bi-LED Headlights might be another choice worth looking into. They feature true Bi-LED projectors, an OEM-inspired appearance that keeps the Bronco's factory styling, and they're designed as a complete plug-and-play replacement.

At the end of the day, there are a lot of solid options on the market, and it's nice to have choices depending on the look and features you're after. If anyone has questions about the OCULUS headlights, we're always happy to help.

The XB are being discontinued. Something to keep in mind. We had some of the first sets that hit the market as we are a top dealer for Morimoto

Ford Bronco Morimoto’s XB LED Headlights - reviews / feedback? New-XB-4

Right now the XB are on sale soo for $459 it's a pretty good deal. The amber drl ones are not available anymore.

The XB are being phased out as the new EVOS are slated to replace them soon. Morimoto has been undergoing a change over the last year or two, mainly due to manufacturing plant changes. Their new EVO line is replacing the older line which offers an optional supercharged driver, to give you even more light.

Sooo if you can wait, wait for the new EVOs which we'll have on our site. Want a set of headlights that are VERY inexpensive, grab the white DRL ones.

I would wait for the EVOs. I have a set of them on my Gen1 Raptor with the supercharged drivers. Could not be happier. I have yet to see comparable light output from anything else.

I have experience with both Oracle & Morimoto. Each have their good/bad, and I found Oracle to be more for the young/fancy owner with all the fancy light changing doo-dah's. I'm much happier with the Morimoto XB's and like the looks/function. Granted I just turned 64, but like the Morimoto headlights so much, I'm swapping Oracle taillights with Morimoto when it's not so Satan's a$$ licking hot in my garage. :D

**Also to note...Morimoto's warranty is 5-yrs vs. Oracle's 1-yr. Good coverage is best, in case things crop-up down the road. ;)

The oracle lights use plastic mounting points (similar to the RC) which causes them to vibrate/shake/bounce as you hit bumps. Even with the truck sitting still and running the engine vibrations cause the light pattern to shake. We tested this on our own Bronco at the time and have a video somewhere on YT showing it. Sooo something to keep in mind. Cheaper headlights use plastic mounting points that you have to screw onto the light (instead of a molded design, it's a plastic bracket)

My issues weren't with the mount/material...just had tons of problems righting the wrongs of my order and follow-on issues. I became extremely frustrated with customer service and run-around...took almost 6-months to get the Oracle headlights to work as they should. If anyone wants the finer details, they can PM me directly.

I am not seeing the XBs on your site.

That's because they are being discontinued and we're not selling a discontinued item. When the EVO's come out we'll have those available.
