Oem intake is already a cold air intake. Aftermarket only add bling. Exhausts sound like sht on ebs
Indeed. With the auto trans especially as the rpm band stays with in a pretty narrow rev range. However, removing the 1/2 kegger stock muffler for a shoe box sized muffling device does indeed save a bit of weight. And you do get a sound you can actually hear.

Yeah man, my Magnaflow resonator is way lighter than my stock muffler and I added a resonator tip also, so no drone and it's not super loud at all...until you floor it..lol. or if you're in Sport mode, the valves get a little more lift and duration and you get a more throaty sound.

Not directed at anyone in particular, but like it or not, turbo V6 noises are the new sound of performance for the average vehicle now. Might as well accept it for what it is and put our effort into crafting an acceptable, but unique sound. I've got a MagnaFlow 4"x14" and it's pretty deep toned. I'd like to try adding a megaphone feeding a 5" resonator with resonator tip(s), but it's a little tight without me making a custom section off the y pipe.

For the people running E85 tunes: did you have to change anything other than the tune (fuel pump, etc)?

Go back and read the details again. That device only offers engine/trans tuning for Jeeps.
Jacob at SC informed us those tunes are soon to be release to upload and use on the flashcal+, just like the Jeeps. Many of us are looking forward to it!

Just the tune. I have a 93 tune that I can load when e85 isn't available.
I have the 3.5l direct injectors waiting in the wings but I haven't needed them so far.

Interesting, good to know. If it's like the Jeep, it would be a $125 in-app purchase. Maybe I'll hold out a little longer before I do the Ford Performance ProCal.

That was my thought, from ground zero the 800$ was a bit much and for 200$ I can tweak a few things and add SPORT to the Badlands. It's a tune in itself. Lol
I also adjusted my low pressure limits, seatbelt nag, and speedo.
