I am assuming coincidence for sure. But I'm also a lifelong car guy, have done hundreds of oil changes and all sorts of maintenance and builds over the years. I'm not your typical dipshit customer. There were absolutely no issues with the way this thing drove prior to the oil change and an absolute noticeable difference afterwards.
Not accusing you of being one by any means. We hear that kinda thing a lot though in the shop. It amuses us. "Ever since my brake job, my phone doesn't connect to the infotainment..." You get the idea.

Is this the v6? I'm not familiar with the 2.7 oil filter location. Any sensors nearby that oil may have spilled on to?

I think there is an oil pressure sensor nearby but I can't recall.

I scanned the truck the other day. No codes. I was about to disconnect the battery but wanted to ride it out bc I read it can take 500 miles or so for the tranny to relearn. It still isn't back to the normal way it was but there has been a noticable improvement in the past 5-6 days. It still holds the gears too long but isn't really as rough on the upshifts as it had been. Going to give it a few more days.
If it re-learns and goes back to normal in the next week, we'll know that the stupid priming process was the culprit.
