Help with Trail Seven speaker upgrade

I kept the Trail Seven kicker cs speakers from my '24 non B&O. Just bought a '26 with B&O. Trail Seven said all I needed was the center dash speaker. Went ahead & installed the 6 I had. Sounds absolutely awful. Nothing above mid range & even with the volume maxed out, it's about half of what it was.
What do I need? The B&O sounded WAY better than this.

Yeah the B&O is tuned for the stock speakers so any upgrade can potentially sound like crap. Replacing dash speakers tends to work out ok if the right ones are used. You need to amplify the new speakers.

Unfortunately I found out the hard way that it sounds terrible. I specifically reached out to Trail Seven & asked what I needed. Told them I wasn't replacing the amp when asked & was told all I needed was the center channel speaker.

Well, what Trail 7 said wasn't incorrect. The B&O will drive your Kicker speakers. And they do. They didn't make any promises about them sounding better... especially if you aren't replacing the amp.

But they need more power to sound better than what came with the B&O. And upgrading the B&O amp is a rabbit hole.

B&O driving Hertz MP 3 ohm kicks sound great. Must have is a 1000-2000W amp with integrated LOC and good sub because balances whole sound perfectly.

Maybe its the MP 3 ohm or sensitivity or overall quality ....no idea. Did have Audison amp driving them before put them in Bronco and sounds just the same.
