Well, shit. Delivered to my door on a Sunday - nearly 48 hrs after my order was placed. Installed in 20 minutes. I can’t believe I drove around with that other fart can for so long. This is a MASSIVE improvement.

Any reason why you opted out of utilizing the first exhaust hanger by the clamp? Only the one by the tip is utilized? Any concerns about stress up the line from vibration?

MRT Elite with Turn Down Tip

They nailed it. Subtle notes, tight and tucked. I get to take it on a nice road trip tomorrow fishing in the Catskills. I’ll report back after a solid day of driving. But, to say I’m happy with my purchase is an understatement. Lately I was opting to take family rides in my wife’s Ranger when given the choice because I was so tired of the exhaust sounds. It was almost embarrassing in public.

Have over 300 miles behind the wheel since install on Sunday. What a difference. Outside of the sound/drone (or lack there of) benefits from this thing - it does seem like there is a difference in air/turbo flow - especially during hard acceleration/downshifting. Is that possible? I love the clearance too. The tone is MUCH more enjoyable and natural sounding. Fits the 2.3L/7MT without being obnoxious. Subtle and effective.

Still curious why they opted out of the driver side hanger bracket. I haven’t gone under there now that it’s broken in - but, it did seem to have a bit more play. @MRTperformance

Are you saying the hanger on the left side of this pic is missing? Because mine has the hanger on the left side. At least I thought it did..... I am sorry this pic does not show it and I can not take a pic at this moment because I dropped the Bronco off for the rear camera recall last night..... I can take a pic when I get it back. I really do like how it tucks up so nice and tight.

@5GENIDN - nah, the MRT left out using the hanger on the driver side - near the bend that heads to the front of the vehicle. You can see in this pic as a comparison to the Steeda:

I assume that because it’s 1/4 of the weight and size of the OEM muffler that perhaps it’s not needed. But, certainly came as a surprise.

We did not see the need for the driver side hanger. We do use the driver side hanger on some of our G.O.A.T. Series systems but for our Elite, Trail Rated, and King Of The Hill Axle Backs we do not. We have been using this configuration since we launched our first Bronco exhausts and we have seen no issue.
