Just wanted to say hello, as I am new to this forum and FORDs in general. Been a long time Toyota guy (and still am), but just added a pony to the stable as well. Looking forward to gleaning a lot of information from this forum.
I've owned my FJ Cruiser now about 18 years and love it. I was an active member back in the day on the FJCruiser forum. Have been all over wheeling it (Colorado, Moab, Oregon, Texas) and absolutely love that truck. The Bronco is the first "throwback" vehicle that has really struck me since the FJ came out. I absolutely love the design inside and out. Especially the Stroppe interior bringing the white inside on the door panels and dash... just like my FJC.
Only had this guy for under a week, so still getting used to driving it and all the tech. Most of which i have turned off or will likely never use. I'm so used the analogue experience, but I may come around. So far its not bad. We'll see how she goes... Already have ordered a few tidbits for it and am researching a few others. I may have to post up some newbie questions, so don't be too harsh.
Anyways, again just wanted to say hello to all.

I'm in Austin, so may be looking for some Bronco get togethers.

And... of course, a few pics for good measure!

Congrats! Recently acquired a Stroppe as well - - also coming from four-wheeling an older rig, and the technology is impressive.

Too many vendors/options/farkles/etc. for these rigs - - plenty of plans but taking my time for the upgrades.

Did execute this upgrade already - - not to everyone's taste, but much improved from my perspective. . .

Thank you! Yes this tech is never ending…lol!
Man I love the paint to match tailgate! If I had the extra cash I would do that for sure. Really ties the rear together!
Looking into some PPF and ceramic coating first thing on this beauty.

- do you have any mudflaps? That’s another must to keep this paint nice that I am currently researching.

Cheers!

A quality shop painted the rear hatch for 1/3 the price of STEK PPF - - and that PPF estimate didn't include the hood, roof, or rear hatch. Still have PPF on the list, but that is a pricey upgrade.

Not a mud-flap guy, but I'm sure the "Search" function will provide what you need - - ideally the STEK PPF would make the flaps obsolete.

Enjoy the "Rabbit Hole" . . . Just too. . . many. . . choices. . . .

Welcome. Nice looking FJ. Did you trade it in?

As you surmised, there is a wealth of information that has been shared over the years here on B6G.

Thank you. I put a lot of work into “Oreo” over the years.

Oh NO!! Keeping the FJ, she’s my baby. So familiar it’s ridiculous after so many years. Only 128k and meticulously maintained. Just wanted to try a Bronco out before the apocalypse…. 😝

Welcome.

I had an FJ too, and a couple of 4Runners (‘89, ‘19). Great machines. I like the Stroppe better though. Hope it holds up as well.

I also have an 07 FJ and a Bronco. I feel like there's probably more than a handful of us on here that are rocking both!

Thanks.

Me as well... the unknown on it's reliability vs. my FJ had me pondering this purchase for about 4 months. After having a solid Toyota for 18 years it was hard to make the decision, but I figured what the heck! Kept the Yota for when the FORD is in the shop... lol. I noticed in your sig that you have both the original Stroppe and new version! Too cool. Cheers!

That's awesome! Have you had it it's whole life? I don't think I could ever part with my 08. Such a beast and ahead of its time! Excited to see what the Bronco life brings for me as well though. Cheers!

I've owned it since almost new. I bought it used in 2010. It's got almost 200k miles on it now. The FJ and Bronco are both awesome vehicles, you will enjoy!
