I started off roading in an old CJ-7 that was fairly stock. Every Year I would add an upgrade to her and learn something new from taking trips off-roading. MY CJ and I grew together. It was a fun experience. Try to find a local off-road club. Its a nice way to share the same interest with others. They can guide you to new trails and teach you along the way. Good Luck with it.

I honestly find offroading very boring nd way too slow and will never do it other than mild stuff with a friend and top off.

Once you offroad dirt bike youll never take a 5000 lb vehicle into hard bumpy terrain.

I do love watching desert racing though and would love to ride shotgun...those guys are nuts whether its Sainz in Dakar or Robby Gordon Baja.

Some high speed baja would be so much fun.
