Do you have to sign up to get these up dates? I have mine to auto update. When i called the dealer they made no mention of it? Some can be updated over air and some need updated at dealer?

OTA updates are rolled out. Not all vehicles get them at the same time. If you have auto updates on, all you have to do is wait.

But there’s also numerous reasons they will not go through, so some need to be done manually.

I got the OTA update but NHSTA still says incomplete as well as in the FP app. Will wait a couple of days, hopefully they need to update their side.

Same here. Both of the display recalls have been handled with over the air updates. Neither show completed in the system, just in the update list in the app.

My OTA update came in today while I was on the trail.

Does anyone else have an issue with CarPlay connecting to your iPhone, but not playing music even if it shows that the song is playing? Seems to happen at least twice a week to me. I have to hard reset the system when driving down the road, and then it's fine. I've had my dealer look at it a few times. Always the same reply about the next patch should fix it, but SYNC 25.2.1.6.5.2 just released and I'm still having the issue.

I finally got her home. My first Bronco was a 1990 back in '93, I like this one even more. Extremely pleased. Thank you Ducati1098 for the FDRS info.

My recall cherry was popped. I guess it happened while I was asleep. Should I worry that I didn't notice until I was awake?

I’ve been posting a bit too during the recall period. Recall cleared Wednesday last week and I was on a flight the same day to catch a red eye to Texas. Picked up Zelda on Thursday and drove to North Georgia. My wife flew from Florida to ATL and picked her up. After that, we headed up to Sevierville, TN. We’ll get back to FL at some point. No rush!

This happens to me occasionally but it doesn't matter the vehicle, can happen in the Bronco or the VW. For me I have to reboot my iPhone then all is well.
