Anyway, how about we get back on subject on helping others out with lifts, giving insight of pro's and con's, vs just bashing what some one may or may not do that you would or wouldn't do to your non HOSS 3.0 bronco. I am all for input, but this is getting to a point of just stupidity. So everyone, have a great Friday! 🍻

I agree, so back on topic. Yes, the Zone kit is the best option to retain your factory Fox shocks and move up to 37’s (with other mods to clear them)

Here are a couple pics from Bronco Knoll, to Big Bear, to the deserts and mountains in AZ. 15k miles and no issues from the Zone kit .

Anyone have the install video for the Zone lift? Local shop wants over $1k for install and I think we're just going to do it in the garage instead.

(Zone lift + Carli torsion bar)

I doubt Zone's install video is much different for any other coil over install. Very doable DIY in the garage if you have the right tools. Otherwise, $250 per corner at the shop isn't terrible especially if your talking new UCAs and rear trac bar relocation bracket.

There are video on YouTube that cover the majority of what needs to come off to gain access to everything. I took my time, knocked out the front on a Saturday, knocked out the rear on a Sunday, I could have done it all in one day, but I still wanted to enjoy some time with my kidos.

I agree that price is not bad for install especially if that’s including the install of the Carli bar. I was quoted similar but also took on the challenge of doing it all in the garage. If I were to do it again, I would have had the shop do it lol.
If I were you, I would also get a trac bar relocation bracket for the rear. They are relatively inexpensive too.
I encountered similar and couldn’t really find a single video and ended up watching several.
This video was the most helpful for the strut disassembly.

Please share your thoughts on the Carli Bar and great job addressing the sway bar right away. I was not happy with the firmer ride. Ordered the Boss Links after 2 days of driving and installed them by the next weekend.
You should be very happy with the results.

I found a shop to install the Carli bar, weld the stinky fab body mount bracket, and install the zone lift for $1k.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the back yet.
  • Carli says get rid of the rear sway bar completely.
  • RockJock says to use front and rear for their kit, but my exhaust (corsa catback dump off) would need to be adjusted a bit to make room.
  • 4 link seems to be more hardcore than I want to go.
  • Maybe just do the relocate bracket and adjustable sway bar? o_O
I'm not trying to build a rock crawler, I bought the wildtrak for it's high speed abilities. I just want it to be capable on 6 rated trails and to be comfortable with 37's

That’s a good price.
Do you have a Max Clearance Kit as well? Is that the Stinky Fab bracket?

I’m surprised Carli said to remove the rear bar, but would follow their advice if that’s what they recommend.
I have the stock rear bar and relocation bracket, works well for my use but i think the adjustable bar would be better.

And significantly cheaper. Looks like I am going with the weld on.
Yeah, it's a welded version instead of the bolt-on.
I ended up going with the stinky fab weld on mount and the metalcloak max clearance kit. I preferred the weld on version because it did not mess with the intercooler mount at all, which the JKS kit does. I feel like it looks even more factory than the JKS kit. The metalcloak kit is basically the JKS kit minus the body mount. It gives clearance for the inner fender well.

Got them both on discount for Black Friday.

Little stiffer in the front, which I like because it helps with the dip while braking and have since added a different bumper and winch setup. Overall very pleased!

FYI for those comparing the two, the Jks does not mess with the intercooler mount, it provides a spacer to stack on the grommet is all.
nothing is moved or modified you just pull the grommet and add the spacer and put the grommet back on.

The zone and the clearance kit have been great, the ride is still fantastic.
And a pic just in case I did not add one to this thread earlier.
