This exactly.I drove for 45 years with no rearview camera and never backed into anything. Hopefully I can survive this.
I’m in the exact same boat. I was able to officially purchase the vehicle. I already have the DMV paperwork back from the state. But I can’t physically take delivery. I was told by my dealer that when I’m able to drive it - the at will be the in-service date so that’s when the warranty will start ticking. So there I was, in my local dealership on the 5th of March. I had just completed the test drive of a white on white ‘25 Badlands (non-sas) and was excited to leave with a new bronco. Just before we were able to start the official paperwork *BAM* Stop Sale hittalk about crap timing. I mean I don’t mind waiting for a little bit but this is not looking good to be able to take delivery this month. If anyone has any behind the scenes intel on when this will get lifted it would be greatly appreciated. So I guess my first post on here feels a bit awkward since I don’t even have one in my possession because of this sh-stuff. Anyway… hi

Just shows advanced notice. Specific technical instructions won’t be released until the specified dates listed in the bulletin previously posted in this thread.Question for anyone with dealer access:
Has anyone checked 26S09 in OASIS or FDRS yet? Does it still show just the advance notice placeholder or is a module flash/programming procedure starting to appear?
If I may offer a little advice, I would urge caution about what the dealer said......maybe search out other opinions if you haven't already.I’m in the exact same boat. The stop sale will stay in effect UNTIL the recall is done on each vehicle, once the recall is done it can then be sold.I called Ford Motor CompanyCustomer Relations today and got a couple details I hadn’t seen discussed much yet:
-Ford currently has 26S09 classified internally as “Advance Notice - Stop Sale.”
-According to the rep, that means the recall exists but the dealer repair procedure hasn’t been released yet while engineering finalizes/validates the fix.
Internal rollout targets they could see:
• 2026 Broncos: - ***March 25, 2026***
• 2021–2025 Broncos: -Still April 27, 2026
My Bronco is a 2025 build (Aug 8, 2025) so it falls in the latter group.
Two interesting things they mentioned:
-Dealers can sometimes see VIN-level remedy availability before the public recall site updates.
-The stop-sale lifts when Ford releases the dealer service bulletin / programming procedure, not when the recall first appears publicly.
I also opened a Ford corporate case tied to the VIN so it’s documented that a customer is waiting to complete delivery once the remedy is released.

Could you please me me know how to do that? I would greatly appreciate it!!I also opened a Ford corporate case tied to the VIN so it’s documented that a customer is waiting to complete delivery once the remedy is released.
Yeah a case isn’t going to do anything at all. It’s still going to take as long as it takes for Ford to release the repair.I was able to get through and open a claim. However, I have little confidence that it is going to do much. The representative basically told me that they are waiting on parts (software?) and that it will be the end of April before this is fixed. I'm hesitant to sign the paperwork and do anything else if there's a chance that vehicle could be stuck on a dealer lot longer than expected. A month and a half is already too long, in my opinion.

That`s how it goes when you work at a dealership,we have learned it and live it every day.Love the optimism![]()
