Because I was misled by research rather than checking it hands-on myself. Seems I was obviously wrong.

Are there only 2 fixed tank sizes available? If those are the available values, the DTE error can be reduced from +30% down to -20%...

You can make the tank value what ever you want. I have a 60gal aftermarket tank on my f350. Had to make the change in ForScan.

Forscan is able to do even more than we realize, but needs more updates from the creators...the most recent updates always free up more buried opinions and functions.

Looking forward, I do see potential issues with the new encryption based canbus...this could cause compatibility issues in the near future...2025 +.

I was going to say, if its there just need an update on the Forscan side.

I paid through alibaba, it was pretty simple for the most part. the guys where good to deal with. They walked me through the process and the shipping of the tanks. Mine just arrived in Vancouver. now waiting for them to go through customs then ship to Alberta. I ordered them in the second week of jan. Hopefully i will see them sooner then later.

I understand the want for more range especially after only getting 8mpg off-road but, after being under my wife's bronco for the last 2 weeks installing suspension I have come to the conclusion that rather than a long range extended tank, I think I rather have a flush frame mount tank that would allow me to flat belly skid plate the undercarriage. I have repaired several parts of the lower hanging suspension areas from my wife's high speed desert driving mistakes and I am thinking that a low profile tank would be better than one that hangs down below frame a few inches. Maybe that would give me some piece of mind against the carnage than a couple of gallons. I think taking 2 to 3 inches off the FK extended tank would still yield a 22-25 gallon tank. I would stool have the option of an aux tank in the rear as well.

Yea, spoke to someone last night that was aware of this thread and they were super helpful. with that said, a non website check out that requires sending cash to someone in china with no CC protection is a leap of faith that im not sure i want to take at this point in time. if 100 people on here had them and had followed this procedure i would feel better about it but it looks like everone else used another form of checkout with at least some of check out protection.

I Totally agree, That is why I used Alibaba. I am still waiting to get the auxiliary tank and the fuel tank from them. it should be showing up here closer too the end of the month or the first week in April. The communication has been good. But the leap of faith is a risk not willing to take.

They did say that they were hoping to finish up on the website payment portal soon and i would happily use that as i just some protection.
