Scarlett rolled 50k miles on the way home today.
She is a commuter, road tripper, trail runner, mud and creek splasher, and occasional show pony.
Original reservation holder, ordered for 21, reordered for 22-23.
The 3 initial orders were for a base 2 door manual, added Sasquatch in 22 and 23. Changed the 23 order to a Heritage in October of 22 when it was announced. Went into production early July 23, delivered early November. Saw her first dirt and mud that Thanksgiving.
In December I installed the B&M shifter and AFE Apollo GT High Tuck cat back.
January she went in for her partial wrap and began her life as a Stroppe Baja Bronco tribute.
April was the winch mount and winch, and then we took her to her first Super Celebration in TN.
Meet some great people and saw some great Broncos.
June hauled a trailer from Alabama to Pa to empty out a storage room, under Mac weight... She towed like a dream.
Minor cosmetic revisions just before Super Celebration TN 25.
Entered the Battle of the Broncos and brought home it's first award. Came home and swapped out the running boards for a set of step sliders.
July made a subtle and understated change to the interior.
September slapped on a set of Wildtrak Fox coilovers and drove from Alabama to Colorado for Super Celebration. Met even more great people, and saw even more great Broncos... Ran Red Cone just before Super Celebration started. Entered the Battle of the Broncos and brought home some more sheet metal. Bought a set of wheels while there and rented a trailer to haul them home.
October deleted the rear seats and installed the 4WP bumper and skid plate.
In the next couple of months I will be installing the new wheels and fresh rubber.
In the last 50k miles I have received 1 recall, the rear shocks. However I had already swapped the shocks and it was a half hour in and out to get the recall cleared.
Other than oil changes and tire rotations this thing has not asked anything of me and has returned a lifetime average of 18.4 mpg.
Looking forward to seeing old and new friends in Tennessee in a couple of months.
