That’s awesome, that totally needs to be in Cars 12 or whatever they are on now. They need to make a Cars off-roading movie…”Anchorage to Argentina.” Filled with all the classic 4x4s and a lifted Camaro or 2.

Started at 9 am, finished by 3 pm, so not to tedious. Worse part was finding a few sharp metal pieces with my fingers. Like all of my automotive projects, it seems like blood sacrifice is a must.

Six hours...I would be lucky if I could get that done (and reassembled correctly) in six days

If I ain't bleedin' I ain't doin' anything! If I was a mechanic I would need daily transfusions.

I’ve been on a roll lately, ie rear control arm armor a few days ago and this afternoon, spark plugs. An easy job, with just a bit of extra effort required on #4. 72k miles.

Did it make a difference in the sound/noise inside?

Not today but Sunday afternoon while waiting for the Superbowl to come on, I started installing the Turn Offroad headliner for my son's hard top.

I'm not certain, as I haven't ridden in it since I installed it. And so far I've only done the two front panels. Hoping to maybe get the rest done this weekend, but expecting rain on Saturday so we'll see.

In other news....RCI sliders should be delivered tomorrow afternoon......So those will be on soon!

Stripped the interior and installed a Soundskins sound deadening kit + some extras in the wheel wells, doors and firewall. No scientific tests, but after three years of ownership I can say it definitely took some harshness of the road noise. Now to work on the hardtop wind noise.

The urge to do this vs the knowledge that it would lead me to 100 other "while I have it open/exposed" projects & it would be 2 months before I drove my Bronco again...

Ah glad to see I am not the only one who suffers from "while I'm in here" syndrom.
