Vasher had his logo on my suspension links and I asked him to remove them. He said he’s a small operation and it’s really his only way to advertise.
Thing is, many buyers - maybe even the majority, like having this branding shown on their vehicle, showing off their “built“ rigs. How many pick ups have you seen with rough country bracket lifts and all the branding on that, and yet the owner insists on slapping additional rough country stickers on their rear window?

And yet, there are those of us that can’t stand this. Just the other day I was wanting a certain companies lower control arm skids, but I went with another company that did not have their branding fabricated into them. The first company literally lost the sale simply because of their branding.

if I ran an aftermarket fabrication company, I would offer a delete so I would not lose sales. Seems like a no-brainer…

Spot on. I’m the same way.

Funny - I was looking at the @Turn Offroad hardtop and they want an extra $150 to delete their badges.

Put your logo on a light then illuminate it? Okaaaaaay. Nothing I can’t handle.

Not all of us are contributing to the movie Idiocracy turning into a documentary, where everyone is walking around looking like they’re a nascar driver.

Last year at Trail Hero Rock Krawler asked if we wanted some shirts. Having had an excellent experience with all their products and customer service, I was all about it. Still felt waaaaaaaaay weird whenever I looked down and saw a logo on my chest seems how all my shirts are blank. I legitimately can’t remember the last time I wore branded clothing before that.

I run the FP cover but despise the gigantic obnoxious logo. It might be getting painted flat black to match the diff.

On the topic of ranting about company logos, these broncos are absolutely plastered with bronco emblems or bronco script or whatever bronco marketing nonsense. The sheer volume of bronco logos and emblems littered all over these trucks makes it feel toyish. I guess Ford got this idea from the jeeps.

I am curious now at how many times the word bronco, a bronco horse, or a bronco specific marketing phrase appears on our trucks.

It’s somehow less than the amount of branding baja designs was able to fit in a 6” light 🤣🤣

I looked at cutting all the letters out of the grill but decided it would look worse. Black letters it is.

I’ve had three raptor pickups and the thing I hated most about those trucks was the fact that the RAPTOR logo was embedded into the body work. Wanted to pull that shit off the truck, but then I’d just be stuck with a weird stamp in the sheetmetal and I didn’t dedicate enough time into figuring out how to get a dicknballs to really flow well in those spots.

When you installed the ARB cover, did you keep the original gasket? And just installed over that?
Yes I did. From what I could find, it is in fact a multi use gasket.

I don't mind the Bronco emblems. I do mind having Ford logos everywhere. The one on the tailgate is fine, but it doesn't need to be everywhere else.

I on the other hand have no problem with branding, when it's good stuff and a company I respect. I grew up in a Ford town and they provided a livelihood to many of my friends families growing up. I have always favored Ford designs and believe they are the last of "The Big Three" after Chrysler was sold off to Italians and GM begged tax payer mercy from Congress. In a free market, that should have been THE END of both of them. Proud to drive a Ford built in Michigan and even put a Ford Performance banner on my Windshield. Also kept my WT banners because we all know it is THE BEST Bronco package EVER :))) and has also now passed on to be part of the Bronco storied legacy. Same goes for companies like ARB, Eibach, Baja Designs and several others. They make great products, I've had good experiences with them, and they support racing and enthusiasts with solid, high performing designs that you can generally trust as being good shit that fits and works without ever having laying eyes on it. I have no problem sporting a company name/logo on my truck that has that reputation and approach to business, but that has to be earned respect. If a kid in Jeep following me happens to catch a glimpse of the ARB peeking out from behind my track bar and wonders what ARB is and performs a Google search....good on them.

To double down on what I said in my last post, I have a buddy who's really looking at a Ranger right now as he wants a tow vehicle that doesn't require two separate counties to park it in. It's mostly the same as my Bronco, but everywhere I have a Bronco emblem, it's got a blue oval Ford logo, and that's kind of annoying.

It's not as obnoxious as that gaudy gold chevy bow tie that they plaster everywhere on their vehicles, but still pretty annoying.

My Whirlpool is a Big Bend model (a Sasquatched one no less), which confuses the heck out of friends, family, and my appliance repair guy...all part of my contribution to "Globalize the Antifa", just doing my part.

Haven't we always been? Most fell in with one tribe or another. North or South. William Wallace or Edward Longshanks. 'Merican or Commie Bastard. Steelers or some other lower tier club.

I still run the stock steel stamped cover. Not sure that getting a drain hole is worth anything to me right now.

I was considering sticking one of the Ford Performance stickers I got in my last box on it, just to see how long it stayed on there.
