I think it helps to have two garages a shed and a barn that collectively total to about 5000 square feet of space. Although I am constantly having to organize and clean up. So while one may be tidy the other three have a bit more disarray

I have found no matter how big the garage is, it's never big enough. I had a neighbor who is the owner of a well known exhaust company. He had a 14 car garage had a full machine shop, a few hot rods and a plane (wings removed) and was looking for more space.

So much truth here.
My 30X42 was wide open with the first project vehicle I did. Only the air compressor, work bench, tool box, and a metal "chemicals" cabinet.
Now I have 6 metal cabinets, two tool boxes, two work benches (flat surfaces are the devil, I tell ya!), Gantry crane, 4 post lift, engine hoist, blast cabinet, bed and cab dollies, and so much crap just taking up my space!

It’s what we do in NC when the roads are slick.
We all figure we are gonna end up in the other lane anyway so we just go metric for the duration.

EDIT:
We are expecting between 25mm and 250mm of snow this Saturday again, depending on location.
