Is that clear coat 2K?
I have had much better longevity from 2K.
So we bought a Azure Grey Metallic Braptor for my wife before Christmas, and we love the truck for her. With subtle changes i had in mind she will love it more. One visual thing that drove me nuts was the carbon grey beauty rings. So my good little redneck husband diy self decided to fix it. We love the look of the wheel(needs spacers, but that's another day) just didn't like the rings. So I searched forum, and yes people have done it, but no tutorials. So I figured I'd share the process with yall incase anyone else wanted to tackle it. Now I'm no professional painter, but I've been diy on cars and trucks all my life. So I can easily handle this. So here's a pictorial for yall if ya wanna do this yourself. Let's start with the finished look....

WOW I'm obsessed with this! I can't decide what I want to do with my wheels,. I also have an Azure Grey Raptor and LVOE how this turned out. I very well may copy youI really appreciate your step by step process too.
I just did a tire rotation but I think when I change the oil I might give this a shot! It certainly elevates the look.
What else are you modifying for your wife's Raptor? I'm curious what other girls who use theirs as a daily end up adding!
That's exactly what I was curious for! Hah!
We are NC and about 2 hours from the beach. I'd love to get on some trails but we ar mostly beach as well. I drive mine daily with my 3 GSDs and my 10 year old. It's always nice to see what other people like me are doing
Current mods are -
Front window and windshield XPEL tint
Jam Handles (front doors, rear doors, back door and window)
BD XL80s (amber - it's mostly for fog and astigmatism) on SDHQ A pillar mounts (AUX 2)
Rigid Amber Fog Covers (AUX 1)
Shorty Antenna
White D Ring Shackles
BD S2 Pros (clear and on the rear to help with backing up or use when hanging out back there- AUX 5)
Milwaukee air compressor and Staun tire deflators (would love to get an ARB brushless mounted somewhere but waiting for the right spot)
Heininger Twistep (for the pups an because I'm short)
EZ 4x4 Top Lifter, Door Cart and Alignment Pins (so I can remove and replace the doors and top on my own)
EZ 4x4 Folding Tailgate Table (excited to have this for the next beach trip!)
Want to add mods:
Possibly new wheels when tires are replaced. I'm leaning toward Toyo ATs and maintaining 37s
S&B intake and GooseTune (I don't go crazy but.... lol)
Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel

Tis better to ask forgiveness...Definitely gorgeous that's for sure. We are loving it so far. Just bought before Xmas, but we're in OBX alot. So he'll see his first sand there hopefully soon. We also go to the Shenandoah Valley once a year. So maybe we'll find a trail there that he won't get scratched. Cause she'd kill me if I scratch her truck![]()

It is worth it, you’re close enough to day trip there, I am just far enough away that I always camp. I took mine out there with 800 miles on it, we did every trail with the exception of the front side of Daniel. Lots of primitive camping, fishing on Badin lake, trails to ride, etc. Are you part of the NCBC (NC Bronco club)? They have events throughout the year, to include one this year as part of NC Bigfoot festival up around Uwharrie.I have been wanting to get out there!
