Trying to mount air outside the engine compartment

Ok, I’ve got the dual ARB brushless compressor installed. Just added the manifold and hoses down to the front bumper area and am struggling to figure out where to mount the quick disconnect. Not sure I have the right ARB disconnect for the job. Any helpers??

I used this Arb coupling. Also used a piece of aluminum and Rust-oleum truck bed liner spray paint to match the bumper

Gotta mount that on any surface that has a hole with a diameter slightly wider than the measurement between those 2 rubber washers

I'm going to mount my quick disconnect to the crash bar in front of the right front wheel. I'll also mount a shield to protect it from flying gravel. I'm also installing a switch rated for IP68 inside the wheel well.

I wanted to put it further back, but would have needed to remove the bumper. I didn't notice that the drill chuck was rubbing the grill and ate into it a little. Funny how my mistakes are acceptable, but I expect perfection if I let someone else wrench on it. I used fuel hose that I had in my tool box to disguise the air line.

I put mine on the passenger side cowl, love it so far, and can reach all 4 tires with the coiling hose in the ARB pump up kit.

ARB has two different couplers. You need the bottom one that comes with the retaining nut.

I like the mounting high and out of tire spray and mud. You don't want any of that going anywhere near you air system.

I used the 1/4" not version as it came with my compressor kit. I stacked 2 1 1/2" fender washers under the vowel cover then tightened the hose fitting to clamp it down nice and tight. The wider base with washers give wider support over the locking nut on the mic version
