Im about to order a 2dr Badlands. However, it looks like the electric adjustable is only available in the 4dr.

Has anyone played with the wiring harness enough to know if the connectors are present in the 2dr harness?

I was able to put a power seat into my X-Type several years ago by purchasing the frame and swapping it out with the stock seat frame. The connector was there.

If the connector is present in the 2dr, then it's hopefully just a matter of sourcing the seat frame...

Any insight would be welcomed...surely I'm not the only one who has thought about this...

Thnx!

I thought about adding it, but the speed and convenience of flipping the seat forward and sliding outweighed the three times total I might use the power seat adjustment.

Do you not have rear passengers? The manual seats are for safety. In the event, your rear passengers need egress, they can do so in a hurry by sliding the front seat forward. Having to wait for the electric motor to move the seat forward or even worse case scenario in that there is no power to the seat, can prove detrimental to the safety of rear passengers.

When I had a 2016 Mustang GT with the 401a package the seats were electronically adjustable in all directions. There was a lever on the top, just like my 2 door Bronco, that when pulled would act exactly the same. It releases the seat and back from the electronics and quickly slid forward with the seat back towards the wheel.

@michelle227 Good news. You just need to go to a junk yard and scavenge a seat from a 2016 Mustang GT with the 401a package.

To answer the question, no...I don't have back seat passengers. Most won't even ask since they mostly see me in two seat vehicles...

To carry the hypo further...there is no reason they couldn't do a lever like my XK8 coupe has. It also has rarely seen a back seat passenger in its 23 years...

I am winning to bet that, since there are no power seat 2 doors, the plug needed isn't going to be there.
You would need to run a stand alone circuit to power them.

When I was looking at ordering a 2024 Big Bend 2 door, the Ford build and price page allowed me to add heated power seats with the Mid package so there are 2 doors out there with power seats.

No there aren't.
If that was on the B&P then it isn't the first time that there have been mistakes on it .
Does stated that they would not install power seats in the 2 doors.
On this forum, there are owners of every option offered... And no 2 doors with factory power seats.

You know, now that I think about it, maybe that’s why Ford Cancelled my order last year. I went into a dealer and ordered a Big Bend 7MT with the Mid Package as I said earlier and then I got a call from the salesman a few weeks later telling me that Ford cancelled the order without explanation and that I had to choose from Dealer Stock. So the only truck that was available with the manual transmission was the Black Diamond that I ended up with. (And as a side note, I'm really glad I got what I did) So maybe Ford cancelled my order because it wasn't possible to get in the first place but you would have thought the Salesman would have know that but it's all moot now because I ended up with something much better. So your information explains a lot.

Thats odd...a month ago i was playing with a 25 model 2dr badlands at the dealer and it had electric seats. I had to adjust the seats to fit in properly with my covid belly.
