I know there is a F150 forum somewhere in the internet, but I also find mostly good advice here.
Since I am a Bronco owner, maybe I can ask a question about a F150???

2025 F150 with 3.5 Ecoboost....not the hybrid version. If I remove the active air dam in order to install a front skid plate, is there anything to be aware of that may be an issue? What is the likelihood of this causing a warranty issue.

I got a 2017 F-250 and use the www.ford-trucks.com forum. Pretty good place...

Don't know about your question but they should know over there. I know on the Bronco it's not a big deal but may be on the F-150.

I think this is probably the "volume" F150 forum on the web, I was active when I had my 2018.

(as to your question, should be no concerns... the front air dam is for FE improvement at higher speeds. )

Watched a video and at 47-48 mph it dropped down approximately 4 to 5 inches. One video stated that Ford claims a 4% improvement.......but does not state what that improvement is. I suppose a wind tunnel might show the drag affects of wind getting under the truck.

Even without the "active air dam" portion dropping lower, ours has enough length to whack the ruts and dirt clods on our road after a rain. Thinking it might be less expensive to remove it.
