I bought an unused soft top off FB market place and it is working great.

The left side rear window is not aligned where the the top hinges. It’s making it bunched up and difficult to take off.

Anyone else have this issue? Anyone know how to fix it?

If you take the window off you can see the track has a break in it there - a short piece about 4” long towards the front then the longer track at the rear

the break is for when you raise the back end - the short section stays put, the rest raises up

a couple years ago someone else here had the same issue and they put some shims under the short section to align it - think they 3D printed them. I ended up replacing mine with an aluminum one from Amazon.

the only issue is the existing track is installed with rivets, so if you go in there need to be ready to replace those with short bolts

Thanks for your thoughts, much appreciated.

I think my issue is that the non-moving plastic part is too high, not too low. So shims would only make the problem worse.

These parts from amazon did you find you can dial in how they fit (up or down)? If you think I could dial in how it fits for my top I think I'd give these a try because it sure does make the window difficult to remove.

You could drag your soft top on the ground while moving it like I did and those tabs just break all the way off!

I have had no rain issues and no more alignment issues either. Just a thought if it really bug you.

If i recall, it has a inner and outer bolt - if you want to aim it down you shim the inner, if you want to aim it up, shim the outer.
