Since much of the metal that should ever be made is made during breakin: Today @ 1k miles of mostly in-town driving with one trip to Big Bend for wheeling… I dumped the 7MT fluid and put in BG syncroshift. 7mt factory fill was already dark. Drained rear differential and put in full synthetic 75w-140 as per Dana spec.Diff fluid black, lots of metal particles. Magnetic fill plug caked with metal shavings, as expected. My Bronc will be in “severe duty” most of its time, especially in the Texas heat. Eng oil next when filter arrives

Took mine out to Folsom Lake in California yesterday. It has been about a year since it has been opened to drive around the lake off-road.

First oil change today....was trying to get to it sooner, but schedule wouldn't let me. Wanted to be around 1K miles, ended up at 3500!

Anyway, pretty slick with no need to jack it up! The funnel maze contraption under the filter is also a nice touch. Shockingly, the oil filter was really loose, it's a miracle it wasn't leaking. Normally, the build filter is a PITA, never had one this loose. Refilled with 6 qts of Mobile1 0-30 ESP, based on an oil analysis thread on here. I'll do the next one around 8-10K, along with a tire rotation. All in all, super easy!

Took my beautiful partner, that lovely soul-mate out for coffee and scones last Sunday. Oh yeah, the wife was there to. Enjoyed that IMAX view of the haunted Superstition Mountains in the background.

I like them a lot. Install was pretty easy. They don't include printed instructions. They just send you to watch the installation video which leaves a little to be desired, but you will know quickly if you have anything mounted incorrectly, or are using the wrong side of a component. I'll be mounting some traction boards and items to them.
