The problem with the two-door is the smaller gas tank, and thus a limited range. Big problem for those of us who want high-capability 4x4s which can go deep-country without loading up the sides with extra gas cans. My solution is to take a vehicle with reliability and high mileage, and make it highly off-road capable. Thus:

With initial reservation, we traded our Hot Pepper Red 2023 Wildtrack, and yes, it was a mall crawler, daily driver with very limited off-road time, only on back country roads and fields. The Stroppe arrived and no further reservation, just pure joy! Noteworthy is the creature comforts--heated wheel, quieter turn signals, greater complimentary interior accents, quieter and smoother ride; B&O sound with sub, speakers, and lights in the roll bar. Painted roof, steel front and real bumpers, raptor-style running boards with rock rails, tricolor paint that is super retro, and yes, a tribute to Bill Stroppe. We will most likely never experience its full capabilities, but the standard "smiles with every mile" will ring true once again.

I love how the Stroppe is configured. If I didn't get such a deal on my Badlands, I would have considered it more seriously. That, and I'm not sure I want everyone to know who I am--it's pretty one-of-a-kind on the road! I do like the paint combo, even if it isn't everyone's style. Maybe now that you have an off-road beast, you'll be tempted to venture a little further off-road. There are plenty of things you can do without worrying about damaging it.

As someone who has a Stroppe flavored bronco, I can confirm this.
My wife gets text messages that I have been spotted while I'm out and about.

Heres the latest. The spare cover gets pressure behind it at highway speeds. That pushes it out to where it interferes with the camera. Cadded thes up and 3 D printed them. Closing in on minor adjustments to the printed parts but sure fixed that problem.

You can also drill and tap it for set screws to hold it to the camera post.

Are you keeping it?

Yes I am. its just about where I want it to be. Nothing I have changed (with the exception of painting the swing gate) is irreversible. I also saved wvery darned thing I have talken off of it and protected and put away. If I or any future owner wants to return it to stock everything is there.

It's literally the only Stroppe option now. The 2-door Broncos are going the way of the dodo-bird. All of the people who think they look good already have theirs and the rest of the world isn't buying them.

I did wonder why the swing gate is black when they painted the top blue. The paint is already in-house!

If you were to sell yours later, I think most potential buyers either wouldn’t notice or would like the change. Only someone wanting 100% original would care, and that buyer would probably want a low-mileage, pristine example.

Stroppe Bronco's came with red (orangish red or whatever you call it) tailgates.
