Different parameters within the ECU such as MAP, AFR, fuel trims, injector duty cycle, timing, boost pressure, temps, ect. All the info required to make changes to the tune. The files are stored in the HP Tuners TDM network.


Nope! Only time it has to be plugged in to the OBD2 port is when you are flashing a tune or taking data logs.

I mean we would need your name and email so we know whose vehicle and tune files go together, no more info than what you share being on this forum.

Yes it is necessary, as that is how we make adjustments and create tunes for your specific Bronco. This is a fully custom tune, not an off the shelf "one size fits all" module like our Panda Power Module.

Yes! Our tunes address all areas for improvement. Another benefit of these custom tunes over the Ford Performance is that we can tweak things specific to your liking, as it is not just a default setting.

So the tune makes the normal mode like sport mode, what does the tune do to sport mode? That is what I drive in all the time.
should you use the 100% gas or the 10% ethanol blend with the 91 octane? That is the highest we normally get around here.
do you have any idea of what kind of mileage you get with the tune? Mine is my daily, I drive about 50 miles a day.
just a couple of my questions rattling around!!

We will have you stock tune file so yes the VIN will be included. I am not exactly sure what else we can do to answer your question. This is not a ploy to get info we would not already have or need to produce a tune. HP Tuners is one of the leading Tuning Softwares in the Aftermarket Performance Sector. @Caleb@PandaMotorworks is trying his best to answer your question but it seems you are looking for something more in depth that we may not even have the answer for as we do not own or code the TDN network. HP Tuners has a great support team as well!

This does not change the drive modes. Drive modes change a few things in how the gas pedal feels. So it will feel more peppy but really its not changing anything for power. SO you can still drive in sport mode every day.

10% ethanol blend is generally better in our findings but we can get logs from you of each to see as each state fuel is a little bit different and we can make sure its happy for what it sees 99% of the time. The beauty of custom tuning as we can tailor things to you and your bronco vs a flash map that has no changes.

Mileage will be dependent on how you drive. More power and more smiles normally means less MPG in my findings

Don't get defensive. I've never suggested or even thought that. However, part of being 'transparent' is letting us know how much of OUR data is being collected, how it's being used and what service is it being stored on.

I don't know or give a shit about who HP Tuners is. YOU are the ones selling a product here. It's on YOU to provide all relevant information, not pass it off to a 3rd party vendor who it seems you're just licensing the software from.

I understand he may not have the answers, but it's up to you guys to do some asking around and find out. Shrugging your shoulders and saying 'dunno' doesn't inspire confidence in your ability to manage the software side of this product.
