Can anyone tell me if there are different headlights for each of on the trims? I need a replacement passenger headlight from a fender bender. Hoping I can find a used OEM takeoff but just making sure what I should look for. Thanks!

There’s a bunch on ebay. Led or Signature lights are there.

I was pretty sure it was LED. Anyone know the part? I’d rather get it here than eBay if anyone has one

There will be plenty of non-Signature lights laying around from people doing upgrades. I’m actually shocked that a couple haven’t popped up today

Also if your interested, the Morimoto XB headlights recently went on fire sale and are pretty cheap for a decent upgrade

I’ve been pretty impressed with the OEM. My old Ram lights must have sucked!

are you seeing a price better than this?

There’s a couple different vendors that specialize in lighting around the forums - they probably can hook you up. Just missed the Labor Day sales, but Black Friday stuff is just around the corner if you can hold off

I just Installed the Oracle Headlights. Easy to install and they are modular. Customer service was great when I needed a replacement part.

looks great! But are they 2x better than the XBs?
yes they are brighter then the XB
Thanks. So there are some objective facts and some subject opinions. People don’t just buy on “that’s the best”. Cost and value always factor.

The XB is brighter than stock at $600ish
Form are brighter still but at $1300

I was content to throw on an OEM takeoff and finish my plan to add other lights to complete my build.

The subjective aspect of this is where decisions happen.

Are XB better than stock? Seems yes. Are they without the problems of the RGB version? Seems yes. Is the price half what it was a few months ago? Big yes. That adds to the value argument.

Are the Form better? Looks like yes. Both brighter and better pattern and better support. However, at $1300 it’s a significant cost jump.

I may be the only person who thinks the Bronco lights are actually pretty good. Like I said, my old truck lights must have sucked. The OEM led lights have been a good upgrade over them.

As long as the XBs aren’t failing on people, they are probably the right choice for me. I’d rather spend the remaining $700 on lights for my bumper.

an single OEM takeoff is only $300 so an XB set is on parity. That’s what I am calculating for the choices.

thanks for sending quotes.

All I can say is aftermarket will never do as well as OEM. Form is likely the best for aftermarket but even they have a high rate of returns. Every person I know running them has had some sort of issue if they owned over a year.

I can talk about Oracle:) Let’s just say it’s very high failure rate. Sure it looks cool, but everyone I know with Oracle has had multiple failures. I went on a drive the other day with 3 Broncos using Oracle taillights and headlights. All 3 had failed taillights. One had a failed headlight. One of the failed taillight Broncos had both brake lights out. Someone almost rear ended them that day twice. That was their second set too…
My advice is just stick with OEM.
Unless you’re ok with doing a return every once in awhile.

high rate of failure? Care to share your data on that? As one of their biggest dealers it’s extremely rare we have to rma their headlights

I have seen the Form light in person, I don’t own them, but they are bright. Having a projector lens the cutoff is somewhat soft with a purple haze to it though.

I can speak to the OEM non-signature light. I am still running it, and if you can find a takeoff set for cheap, I would do that over an upgrade. I ended up doing Diode Dynamics Pro pocket lights in a mod bumper, and I run the SAE Fog lamps all the time with headlights — that fog lamp alone is almost as bright as the stock high beam headlamp and has a much wider field of light while remaining street legal.

So for just light - adding a good set of street legal fog lamps did what I needed for less than upgrading the head lamp. It doesn’t look as cool though.

But in the OPs case - they have a broken lamp, so it needs fixed. Try looking up LKQ and car-part.com for cheap salvage finds if there are no take offs to be had here, or I would agree with the OPs sentiment - get the cheaper XBs and throw that saved $600+ at a good pocket lamp to complement it. (That’s assuming the XB doesn’t have QC issues like the XRGB did or the Oracles do with their shuddering)
