I’ve had my Bronco for almost four years and I’ve added a ton of chonk (accessories) and tinkered with ForScan (added Sport Mode to my Badlands, switched off Auto Start/Stop, and activated my Modular Bumper front fog lights: bumper terminals, new switch, and instrument indicator).

Here’s what I wish I could change via ForScan(and if I missed it on a thread or spreadsheet, please let me know):

1. 360/front/side/chase Cameras at any speed (not just in Baja)
2. Mirror Lights at any speed (or at least good up to 25 mph)
3. Fog lights on with running lights or no other lights
4. Larger Off Road Pitch/Roll/Yaw graphics in instrument cluster with the manual transmission
5. Change my Auto Start/Stop button function. I’d do a “Toyota Mode” button to easily change between AM/FM/XM with a hard button

What are your favorite ForScan Mods and why? (besides double-honk off) 🤣

What mod do you wish were available in ForScan?

(pic for attention - third parade this Fourth of July!)

If it’s worth anything, auto start/stop used to be an able to be disabled via ForScan. If I recall correctly, at least the 21/22 MY’s could have ASS disabled in FORScan. I have a ‘22, so that was one of the first changes I made.

Ditto. If only we could repurpose the button in the middle of the dash, amirite? Sad loss of prime real estate for an EPA placebo 🤷🏽

Sorry, got lost in the thought. One of my fav FORScan mods is auto brake hold. I’ve had it in my previous vehicles, so having it in the Bronco is pretty fantastic…especially at a stop light, or if you’re waiting in the drive thru at Chik-Fil-A😁

Is it possible to use ForScan to keep the cruise control permanently on? I hate having to turn it on every time I use it. Almost like having to turn the ASS off every time until I fixed that permanently with aftermarket bongle.

Great question! I don’t know. At least the bronco cruise control is a one button operation… As in most cars, you have to activate the cruise control and then press set to establish or hold your current speed.

So, like, as soon as you start your car and put it in drive it ramps up to 60MPH in the parking lot? Or did I just fall for the troll post?

You'd have to be a Philistine to not want these things from ForScan.

Don't recall seeing this in the spreadsheet, but I assume it is not for MT Broncos?

As a fellow gearshifter, as much as I love AutoBrake in my wife’s minivan, I wouldn’t want it in my 7 speed Bronco. I shut off the Hill Brake Hold Assist feature because it feels like cheating.

Please don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t deprive others of the feature or their preference. After imagining AB in a manual, it just seems to be contrary to the spirit of using both feet and hands with a more attentive driving focus - and contrary to my subconscious desire to flail like a trained steampunk monkey pulling levers and pushing pedals when 20th century tech already made driving easier, faster, and more efficient 🤣

Would be nice to be able to turn the front or rear cameras on at any speed.

There is a thread running around here somewhere on it but my next project is enabling cornering lights. It's going to be a fun one with the mod bumper and from what I understand the wiring is no longer there on the 25s.
