What I hate about my Bronco, you? (edit) Or maybe I should have called it "What would you want if you were designing it"

I love everything about it even after 2+ years I still can’t believe I drive a Bronco.

However, since we are here, if I have to be picky it’s the cupholder situation. $50k on a vehicle and I seriously only get TWO cupholders? The back seat could easily have had the center console pull down cup holder or even in the back seat. Maybe the higher trims have it, but not my Outer Banks.

The fact that I will never fully trust it again. Total brake failure at 1300 miles. It's been three years and I still wince a little bit every time I touch the brake pedal, praying there will be pedal pressure.

Cheap plastic panels

Sometimes when I exit the vehicle my knee hits the headlights switch and turns it on. I wish it was in a slightly different location.

Own a 21 more door OuterBanks. Yes, there are some creature comforts missing with a High/Lux package mall crawler. Nothing to hate. It’s a 4x4 Ford, not a G Wagon or a Defender. Largest gripe? Memory seats and non cooled seats.

At 35,xxx miles knowing that it’s been back to the dealer umpteen times for warranty repairs and I’ll soon be on my own.

• Loose body mount causing clunking sound
• Missing firewall grommet
• Detached rear window defroster wire
• Loose front sway bar link
• Broken driver seat recline lever
• Rusted steel wheels (at less than 10k miles)
• Detached hose in turbo system triggering some kind of “limp mode”
• Missing metal engine skid (mine was mistakenly shipped with a plastic skid plate)
• Haven’t even taken in for the misaligned front driver’s side top panel alignment pin hole, because who even has time for this shit?

Only hate is the cheap interior plastic. Ford did buyers wrong here. Wife’s Sport doesn’t seem to scratch so easily. Sync and CarPlay issues are not just a Bronco thing.

All the recalls. Most I ever had on any vehicle I purchased in my lifetime. And I have bought about 70 brand new vehicles.

Other than we don’t have lane tracing / my trim doesn’t have adaptive cruise.
The top is my only real complaint.

I bought a brand new 2025 Bronco and have 4k miles on it. The driver side second row door is very slow to drop down -- to slow and so when I open that door, the window is pulled over the rubber seal. It feels distinctly different from the other three doors. I plan to schedule to have this repaired. My first Bronco also had even more window problems. The frameless windows seem to be a weak point but I don't understand why. Many autos have frameless windows -- Mustang, Tesla, etc. It's not a new technology.

As far as the recalls go, yes. A lot of em. Ours is a 21. Probably have had any and all of them. It was year 1 of a new vehicle. To be expected. As to the continued recalls…….
