I have a 2024 Ford Bronco Badlands and just ordered 2 Bronco Badlands Badges from Etsy as they are now back in stock.

https://www.etsy.com/listing/1769536653/bronco-bronze-colored-badlands-badge?variation0=5137189245

What is the best method for removing the stock OEM Bronco Badlands badges that were on my Bronco when it was delivered? I have seen where some folks have used dental floss to remove the old badges without damaging the paint or clearcoat. Is this the preferred method or is there a better method?

Thanks.

Honestly on my old BL and Wildtrak I just worked one corner with my fingernail and pulled, came off pretty easy.

You can use a hair dryer to warm up the badge then gently peel it up. Goo gone can help soften and clean off adhesive. That's what I used to clean up residual adhesive when I removed my chrome bronco from the tailgate.

Dental floss may work if the adhesive is thick enough. It may not be for the Badlands emblem.

Use 70% isopropyl alcohol to clean the area you're going to apply the new emblem.

You might want to ask if the new emblem will fade. Some of the emblems people bought from Archetype racing are fading after a year.

Maybe leave one the new emblems in the sun for a year and the other in the shade then compare before applying them.

Have not experienced or heard of that for the badges from Etsy/Weneedstinkingbadges store. I’ve had mine on for over a year now with no fading. They have a heavy clear coat, so shouldn’t be an issue @OP. Heated with a hair dryer and they peeled right off. Cleaned with alcohol and applied the new badges.

Archetype was a scam to begin with. No way in hell I was giving them money then wait months for some waaayyy overpriced badges!

I have these on mine or mine are very similar to these. You should not have any problem getting your factory ones off. My only complaint is these are a little bit smaller triangle than the stock ones. Other than that I've like having the thicker metal.

The OEM badges are not badges. They’re just stickers so you can leave it out in the sun and just peel them off.

The Bronco Badlands badges from Etsy arrived today and installation was super easy as the OEM vinyl badges peeled right off. The Etsy badges are metal and the fit and finish is of much higher quality than the OEM badges.

The badges from Etsy are a direct plug and play replacement for the OEM vinyl badges and are exactly the same size as the OEM badges. I used a plastic razor blade scraper to slightly peel the edges of the OEM badges up and then they peeled right off and are still in perfect condition.

I installed mine today. They appear to be very good quality badges and give the bronco a more premium look that should have been from the factory.

Were you able to install the new badges in the same location as the original sticker or did you need to drop it down a bit? The fender has a slight curve up at the top, so a rigid badge would not lay flat. I saw that was a complaint some had when reading the reviews.
Thanks.
