Ford Performance black lug nuts. I know. They swell. No other aftermarket black lug nut looks as good and most don't even have the right acorn seat diameter. I do my own tire rotation and I keep an eye on them. I use the same 19mm socket each time. If the fit begins to get snug, I replace the lug nuts.

The factory rack lets you remove the front as well, just not the mid panel.

Took off the hard top and the doors. Put on the JTops bimini mesh. Gonna ride that way all summer. A few tips for the doorless life:
- Don't put anything on the seats or floor wells. Learned that the hard way.
- Get a cover for the back and put stuff there instead. This one works well for me.
- Get some gun weights for the rear seat belts to stop them a-flapping. The stick-on clips work OK until a rear seat passenger who doesn't know about them pulls on the seat-belt and yanks them off.
- If you have a 4-door, take out your back-seat floor mat(s). Mine (WeatherTech) take flight at highway speed.
- Use the handy alignment pin (included in your toolkit) to put the doors back on without scratching your paint. And tighten the bolts until they don't click when you close them. But don't put your doors back on until winter <g>.

Only peripherally related to my Bronco, I got my TRX4 rebuild rolling after a sporadically lengthy overhaul. Carbon fiber chassis, sensored brushless motor, front 3-link converted to 4-link, steering servo mounted to the front axle, and the new Bronco body installed. I still need to figure out bumpers.

In doing so I inadvertently lost a debate with my wife. Tamiya PS-19 "Camel Yellow" is more orange than my "Cyber Orange" Bronco.

She won. The truck's yellow.

The company is called Aries and they have a sale right now on amazon. Usually like $700. Will put some lights on the front later this week. Best brush guard for the steel bumper.
