Spare tire balanced ?

I plan on doing 5 wheel tire rotations , I didn’t see weights on the spare tire. Curious if Ford balances the spare tire at factory?

Yes I did , I only see weights on the 4 in use tires

should have been balanced from the factory.
plenty of us doing 5 wheel rotations which uses the spare

i haven't seen anyone complain about this issue after a 5 wheel rotation.

You made me look. I found a weight on my new ‘25 spare. Planning on 5 tire rotation .

Lucky you! The first ever perfectly balanced tire and rim combo. Or not ....

If you took the tire off the back gate and didn't find any weights, the dealership would handle that under warranty. Take it to the local tire shop and have them put it on the balancer to check. They may even do it for free. My local Goodyear shop repairs flats and balances for free.

Wheels and tires are balanced before they ever get to the assembly line. It wouldn't be efficient to balance them after a Bronco was assembled.

I think you got lucky and got a wheel/tire assembly that happened to be balanced. Either that or you missed the weights.

I thought the same thing when I did my first rotation but I found a weight on the backside on the rim when I took it off the mount. I would imagine during assembly that whatever man or machine fires on the tires, picks from racks and racks of balanced tires but I'm just guessing.
