I guess you should ask yourself what kind of adventure you are looking for. Do you want instruction in an area that is similar to your local area OR something completely different. I think TN or NH would have the closest terrain to what we have here but I went to TX last week, wanted some Franklin BBQ !

I’m close to LV and wanted a change of scenery so we did NH. Then did a normal vacation in Boston and Maine.

if I wanted to do more off roading on my own I would have driven to LV or Moab.

it depends on what you want to get out of it.

I suspect any location will be good.

We did Moab. As others mentioned, you have Arches and Canyonlands National Parks right next door. We came from Northern CA but surprised at the number of people that had traveled from Minnesota, Ohio, and further east several driving their Broncos there. Can only speak about Moab Offroadeo but tons of Bronco/family things to do right in that area.

Nevada if flying.
But I'd like to try the others as well. It was a blast!

Finally went through and verified my offroadeo token so I’m trying to decide which location to go with.

I’m in Cleveland, so NH and TN are def drivable but I’m not sure if flying to MOAB or LV would be worth it just because it’s a terrain I haven’t really experienced before.

I assume I’ve had to rent a car for MOAB and LV (they seem pretty far away from the airport) while I could just drive to TN or NH.

Has anyone done multiple? Are the ones out west that much better than the ones closer to me?
I did Vegas and the venue was amazing!

My 2 cents. Go where you can drive to with your own Bronco, make some friends during the Off-Roadeo, ask if anyone wants to join you running local trails in the days after the Offroadeo. That way you get quality instruction, you make new friends, you get to learn how your own Bronco handles on the trails. I went to Moab and it was awesome! Then spent the next couple of days exploring the area. I would love to go back to Moab.

I did the LV Raptor training. Awesome, but not the kind of conditions that I will be experiencing when I get off road here. I will be getting into mud and loose sand more so than desert racing conditions. We bought a second Braptor and I am thinking I will do TN this time around. I would probably choose Moab if I was going for scenery though.

I was going to start a new thread with this exact question. The NH location is a 4-hour drive for me and would be instruction in a similar environment to where I live. HOWEVER, I don't know if I'll ever realistically get a chance to go off-roading in MOAB, so this would be an opportunity.

I would have preferred to do Vegas as opposed to Moab.
I did the Moab Off Rodeo and it was fun and all, but I was not enamored with the Dome Plateau area, which I found far less impressive than the regular Moab trails.
If I was to do it all over, Vegas baby!

So you've done both and preferred Vegas, or was just underwhelmed with Moab and assume Vegas would be better?

Where do you expect to do your offroading? My guess is New England and Pennsylvania, as most of the Adirondack area has been closed off. So I suggest you go New Hampshire. I did.
You won't be disappointed. People give very positive reports for all locations. Regarding Moab, put it on your bucket list and resolve to explore the continent someday--commit to the time and money, you'll never regret it.
Northeast offroading is different than the far West and Southwest: Our rocks were dropped by glaciers, and are extremely irregular in size and placement. So have at it!
Check this site, Facebook, and other locations for 4x4 and Jeep clubs. We joke about our brand loyalty, but if you show up at a Jeep event, you'll be fine. If you're new, you do want to start with other groups so you have support and repair/recovery help if you need it.
Also, there are commercial outfits and 4x4 parks who provide services. Allow me to recommend two:

DM me if you want to discuss more off-thread. Where in NY are you?

i assume you were meaning to reply to my post.

Im in Southern NY so yea, new england/ny/PA off roading. so it would be very useful in a sense that it would be instruction in a similar area to where i live. But to go out and do it in MOAB or Vegas sounds like a bucket list kind of thing that is being provided for very little expense.

Underwhelmed with Moab, but heard great things about Vegas, mainly a good mix of sand rock and such.
