Hey all, my driver side mirror camera has been out of alignment since I bought my '22 Wildtrak 4 door as a used vehicle. Curious if there's an easy way to adjust the camera? See attached pic to show what I'm talking about. If I move the mirror on its hinge a bit forward it comes back into alignment, so I'm sure mechanical alignment would take care of the problem.

There is no manual or mechanical adjustment.
There is an electronic alignment using Ford's diagnostic scan tool though, not sure if it would fix that image or not.
The cameras only mount one way. Maybe the camera is sitting/not mounted correctly?

On mine the issue was the camera was not seated correctly in its bezel. Due once to my opening up the mirror housing at one point and not snapping it back on correctly, another time hitting the mirror on the garage door frame. Look closely at the cameras to check yours, maybe the PO was in there servicing
or the mirrors got knocked
around at some point.

The biggest issue I see is at the rear w/ double lines and what I assume is interference of your massive bumper guard w/ the camera. That thing is huge.

What I can tell you from experience is that a lift and/or camera relocation (from adding a winch) changes what I’ll call camera perspective, making things look a bit wonky In certain situations. Not unusable, just not 100% accurate. I asked my dealer about recalibrating it. I wasn’t given much hope if I’d installed after market parts, which I had.

Just took these FYI.

The brush guard was installed by myself about a month after purchasing the vehicle. The camera issue has been present since purchasing the vehicle, so I know for sure the brush guard didn't cause the issue. Not sure how that'd even work since the issue is with the side mirror camera and not the front cam - do they self-calibrate to each other or something? But yes, the issue is the rear double line on the left. The issue isn't present on the right side of the vehicle. I'll also mention that I didn't relocate the front camera. None of the camera locations have been altered at all.

Does the mirror trim just snap off? I don't wanna break anything but am happy to dig deeper to see if the camera is not seated properly. Thanks!

Lol, nope, it's not that heavy lmao! It's just the brush guard, not a whole bumper really.

I wouldn't hit an elephant with it, but a deer, probably. Gotta love country roads with herds running rampant. A similar brush guard saved my 2013 FPIU from getting irreparably damaged... So I've got this guard out of necessity really. Here's my old ride which had a Westin Sportsman brush guard on it. Different vehicle, same teeth. :)

Can the rear camera be electrically aligned by Ford as well? Mine is off by a couple inches, and with the hitch being obscured by the spare tire it makes hooking up a trailer slightly annoying. Dealer told me they could find no way to align it mechanically or electronically.

The alignment is only for the 360 degree system. It does all the cameras at once.
But it's not going to be able to account for different things in the way. It just basically makes sure all 360 degree cameras stich together correctly.

I did see in my FS Lite app - but haven't used yet - a procedure to calibrate cameras via Forscan, probably the parking and proximity cameras. I don't know if that covers the 360 camera system at all.
