Install hard top over Bronco Cargo Bed Side Covers?

I took the hard top off for the first time today. I had purchased the Cargo Bed Side Covers a while back to cover the cargo bed sides while the top is off. Can I leave them in place when I put the hard to back on? or will they screw of the alignment of the rear glass and front roof sections? Thanks for any input.

I had no issues leaving it on for both, soft and hard top

I use them under mine. No issues that I can see. I did have to punch holes for the hardtop guide pins. The covers I bought didn't have the holes for them.

Ours have been on for close to a year with no issues.The covers seemed to actually help quiet down the interior noise.

Yeah, you can usually leave the cargo bed side covers on when reinstalling the hard top, but it depends on the thickness and fit. If they’re pretty flush and don’t push up against the seals or rear glass, you should be fine. Just double-check alignment when you put the top back — if the rear glass or panels seem off, might need to pull them off.

I didn’t know this was a thing. What does it look like top-off without those covers? Haven’t taken my shell off yet.

EDIT: Is this irrelevant if I only have a factory hardtop?

it says not for 4 door hardtop, but it does have the guide pin holes and has worked for you for a year or so?

@Brad Fx I don't recall seeing that exact advertisement for the soft top only and not for the hard top,but it was probably there and I didn't pay attention. Regardless, the protection panels worked so great quieting the top that I took them off and am gonna put them on our new Bronco. I'd buy them again in a second.
