Interesting housing - looks good. How is the wiring fed through the housing? It looks like the wiper valiance isn't sitting flush on either side.

I don't know if this helps you but I just drilled a hole and went into engine compartment by the hinges...

I have a set of pods that I fished the wires through so the valiance lies flat. My first Bronco, the passenger side never did no matter how much effort was made with the wires.

I was more interested in how the wires were routed with that specific bracket/housing. I could make use of a set of dual pods incorporating that bracket/housing, but there is no way 2 different looms are fitting through the same space.

Installed Baja Designs Dual Fog Light Kit w/KR Off-Road Bracket. 1 set of Amber S2 SAE and 1 set of white S2 SAE. Another pretty easy install thanks to the harness from 4x4 Truck LEDs. Although I did cut the butt splice connector off and did a lineman splice with solder and heat shrink. Overall happy with how it came out.

Some folks think the RC Tubular is a close match for the modular. IDK I liked it so much I got a matching front from Black Horse.

Love both the Blackhorse AND RC. I'm sure they're made on the same factory. They are well designed, good looking, good fit and finish, good welds and paint is still real good after a year.

If you look close in the photo you can see the shackles are not mounted symmetrically, my only complaint and I think its a fluke.

I actually just got back from the dealer with a friend who scheduled an appt for her ‘22 Bronco for the window rattle.

Did you do the adjustment using the 2 points at the bottom of the door or did you try some other magic I might be able to try on hers? Adjusting from the door bottom did not work on hers.

Just did the bottom bolts adjustment and it helped tremendously….
Just loosen them and then slide them as far as possible towards the outer side of the door and retighten.

Installed the DV8 Overhead Molle Panel. Wasn’t entirely necessary but it was to provide a front mounting point for a fly rod case or long gun case.

Making the install process a wee more challenging is that I also have the JTOPS bimini mesh top. Just about every other overhead MOLLE console mounts to the B-pillar MIC top latch plate. Normally not an issue but with the bimini top, you can’t have anything the connects to the 3-bolt latch plate because it will interfere with the bimini mesh top.

The DV8 will work but it makes the install process about twice as long because you have to work around the mesh fabric which has to stay installed from the B-pillar back when installing the DV8 molle panels.

The front part of the molle panel installs just fine since you can peel back the front part of the bimini top during install.

But the cross bar section is more difficult because you have very little overhead access due to the mesh top

Below is the rear cross bar with integrated Hail Mary grab handle installed under the JTOPS bimini top

Access to the DV8 nuts and bolts is somewhat limited from the top side because of the mesh top

One of the few DV8 bolts that you can access from the top is where the access hole is in the mesh top for the MIC top clamp (photo below)

As far as I can tell, the DV8 molle panels are the only ones that can install under the Jtops bimini top.

Don't know if they intended this to be the case, but the DV8 molle panel hardware connects BELOW the MIC top latch plate.

There is a potential rubbing point in the mesh where the DV8 hardware has a metal curve that reaches to the top of the roofline, and runs tight against the bimini mesh.

the “bulge” you see under the mesh top photo (above) is where the DV8 metal mount plate curves to the top of the roll bar and is held in place by the DV8 pressure plate that mounts on top of the MIC top mounting plate.

The pic below shows the crossbar mounting plate with the metal "finger" that curves to the top of the roll bar and fits into a slot

The metal finger is held in place by a "pressure plate" that mounts on top of the existing MIC top latch plate. This ingenious system is why this molle panel can co-exist with the Jtops bimini top.

All other systems I looked at mounted to the factory latch plate, and that would make it impossible to use the Jtops top. I think you could use a different vendor's bimini top, like the ones that have straps that wrap around the Bronco roll cage, but I didn't like those as much as the Jtop that I leave on year round (even under the MIC top).

Glad I had the right assortment of socket tools (I.e. small) to fit them under the bimini mesh.

Overall, if you were thinking of adding a overhead Molly panel with a Jtops bimini top, the DV8 solution will work. Just be prepared for scraped knuckles and maybe some hand cramps to get access to all the nuts and bolts needed for assembly.
