Added some additional sound deadening under the hood. Took me down to about ~66db at 80mph.

Sound deadened rear cargo area and all four doors. Somewhat tedious work but definitely made an impact on sound. I'm averaging 64db at 60mph now and was well above 70db without.

Switzerland Trail North, Boulder, CO. About to get some mud. Also, the Poodle was displeased with how dirty we got the Bronco while offroading 🤣

Did the pipe insulation hack to quiet the wind noise. Used two 6foot sections of 3/4 rubber pipe insulation on the sides and cut some smaller pieces to put in the gap under the front of the hardtop. This actually has made a significant difference in quieting wind noise.

Did Mosquito Pass from Alma, Co to Leadville, Co. Last one of the season and it was a bit sketchy when we got up top with sleet.

Took Blucifer up to the Sawmill Gulch Loop off the Switzerland Trail North in Boulder. It was a good test of Starlink mounted to my roof rack. The mount held solid with all the bumps and climbing.

Added the JCR Offroad Bronco Short Roof Rack. Assembly and install was pretty easy except when mounting on the roof with the brackets. Took a lot of grip strength to get the screws to mate with the bolts.

Took it up the Deer Creek Trail in Colorado towards (but not on) Radical Hill. Stopped at the top of Teller Mountain, ate lunch, then went back down the same way we came.

Offroading in Colorado

Disconnected the battery for a few hours to reset the TCM. The Bronco always had rough shifts especially in the lower gears (even with the protune). This appears to have mostly resolved it. It feels much smoother driving it after.
