Schnebly Hill will beat the hell out of you on the drive up to the top.

yeah, we skipped Schebly Hill this trip....We did it a couple years ago in our JLUR. Once was enough.

We did Vultee Arch to Van Deren cabin this trip which is a much more fun trail with a couple fun challenging spots(when you make it to the cabin) and just a more enjoyable trail with much less traffic. We practically had the place to ourselves this time.

Next time we plan on at least 4 full days out there....hit up a few more trails.
Hard to find a much prettier place in the continental US than Sedona.

would be fun to do a group trip out there someday

Do the hike to Vultee Arch? It's a super cool spot; amusingly I have only hiked it from the east side coming over Sterling Pass (which is quite a work out with around a 1000 feet of climbing and descent each way). I need to try coming in from the west sometime.

The degradation of Schnebly Hill is remarkable. I drove up it in my 4Runner maybe 4 or 5 years ago and it was already pretty bad, but it was a whole next level washed out mess when I ran it downwards last October. I still like the trail and nothing on it is really that difficult, but it is definitely a rough one.

Put a new Turn off road glass on my turn offroad top, with defrost windshield wiper install.

Replaced pass inner fender liner, after 37 tore stock one up on compression, with aftermarket replacement rather than DB8, Fab4, hook…still need to do 3/4” body lift…also did tire rotation…

Yesterday we did Devil's racetrack, which is about 60 miles west and north of Moab. A difficult trail with amazing scenery. Long day, left Moab at 9 am and got back at 7 pm.

took the top down for the first time........I loved my hard top on my JLUR, but man...the ability to easily go topless in minutes with the soft top is rad.

Interesting housing - looks good. How is the wiring fed through the housing? It looks like the wiper valiance isn't sitting flush on either side.

I think that in combination with the zone lighting on a switch can make some really good night time camp site finders. That's basically what I use on my other rig to find camp sites, ditch lights with side shooters.
