Now wait have you ever been to Bakersfield. I live four hour north down the 69 sorry meant the 99. You don't know what you missing.

I was born and raised much much closer (less than a tank of gas in a two-door ) from Bakersfield and I know exactly what I ain't missin'.

Not a fan of Buck Owens, Merle Haggard or Dwight Yoakum I guess

You think any of them come from the Bakersfield of today? The armpit of America?


The Bakersfield Sound moniker aside, I am good with that playing, but aim a little more northwest to El Cerrito unless I get stuck in Lodi again, because the 99 has construction or just in such disrepair, as usual, it punctures a tire.

I'm good with just about anything that fits my mood except sugary, saccharine Pop[ular music] and sound that lacks musicality like most mumble rap, whinge pop, and dubstep or anyone else's music on their phone.

Dubstep fits my Raptor quite well. Put on some Ray Volpe or Subtronics and let it blast.

Backup vote for speed metal or industrial. Nothing like some Megadeth or Ride the Lightning era Metallica while cruising around.

I’m 57 and still listening to it. Never gets old. Bronco made me get back into car audio. Put in a pretty nice system.

I don't quite hate the stock B&O system as much as many people (I find it sounds better when streaming off Spotify for some reason), but definitely am considering putting some money into it since I'd prefer it louder and clearer. It seems like most "comprehensive" after market solutions are in the neighborhood of $4K but I feel like if I make the investment I should do it while the car is still new so I can get the most out of it while owning for awhile...
