Texas Off-Roadeo 3/29/25

Just completed my and my wife's reservations for the 3/29/25 Texas Off-Roadeo. Kind of local for us so pretty convenient.

Anyone else on here signed up for that particular date?

Not scheduled, but live in the area (although, I see you are in New Braunfels). Are you making a weekend of it, or just driving to the Off-Roadeo then driving back?
If staying (or thinking of staying), here is the obligatory - Breakfast or pie at Bluebonnet Cafe in Marble Falls. Local staple. If you stay over through Sunday, take your Bronco over to nearby Hidden Falls where you can practice all those fancy off-roading lessons. Great park with trails of varying levels of difficulty so something for everyone. They have a general store for snacks, you could camp or RV, and they have tons of on-sight air stations so you can air up and down in a snap.
If you have any other questions about the area or that particular Off-Roadeo location, just ask. Also, look out for the hidden sasquatch silhouette's at the base camp. They used to give extra stickers for spotting them. March weather (as you know) will be hit or miss for Central Texas.

Got some disappointing news from the folks at Off-Rodeo headquarters today. Because the new Bronco I purchased in October was a leftover 23 model, the latest I can make a reservation is June 2025. They don't give you a year to go.

Just a heads up for anyone who purchased a new 23 recently.

We'll be staying at the resort Fri and Sat nights and driving back to NB on Sunday. Probably drive around the area backroads before heading home.

I'm pretty familiar with the area. I used to ride motorcycles all around there back in the day when I lived in Austin. I'm a big fan of the Bluebonnet Cafe breakfast!

Is there a deadline to do it? I got my '23 in July 2023. I keep putting it off because I haven't had the time to do it.

Wait, do I have this correct?: 9 hours of indoors (and things like lunch, etc.) and 3 hours in a Bronco?

I signed up for mid March Moab, but I might want to just hit the trails in my own Bronco if this is the program...after watching various youtube videos I was thinking it all might be too intro for me in any case.

I think they mean 9 hours total, three in the seat. That's what I got in Texas (8.5 hours total, about five hours in the seat), but that may differ depending on where you are and the circumstances (weather, number of groups going out, etc). It's more fun if you have no experience off roading; it generally benefits folks with no experience or want to be there for the stickers.

They gave me 8 months from purchase but not sure why they view customers with new 23s with less interest. Fortunately my wife and I got to attend Tennessee, and we were able to do the Dome Plateau trail in Moab several years ago in our Jeep. Looks like we’ll have to give Off-Rodeo a California decision this time… Pasadena.

I looked it up and confirmed the expiration date. I am now scheduled for the February 8 Austin Off-Roadeo. I was hoping to do Moab or Vegas, but Austin is close, and I don't know when I will have the time to plan a trip to either of those two.

Just tried to register for the Texas off-rodeo and it looks like there's no availability in 2025? The Texas option is greyed out, I can only select Las Vegas.
